The new kits are designed after a dialogue between the supporters, the club and Puma. Naturally, the characteristic colours of the home shirt maintained. For the away kit the colour black and green was chosen.
“We have listened to the fans who wanted to see the colour green return in the 09/10 away kit “said general manager Sander van Gelder of Puma Benelux.
The anniversary logo will be replaced with the normal Feyenoord logo. The star, indicating that Feyenoord has won more than 10 National titles in the past will be visible above the logo. Placed in the back of the collar the logo of the city of Rotterdam.
“we have included the designs details that the fans like to see on the uniforms. We are therefore very pleased with the final result.” said van Gelder.
The 09/10 kits will be available from the beginning of the next football season in the fan shop and all other official outlets.

but I don\'t like this new Puma template.. should I be ready to see every single Puma team wearing this crappy V design shirts next year ? I can\'t wait to see new Bordeaux kit with that design..
my vote : 1/5
Feyenoord supporters have complained! Feyenoord and Puma have now promised to come up with a new design, which will be more classic!
Feyenoord and kappa worked well, a good longterm connection with each other, Kappa always stayed respectful to Feyenoord.
Kappa have always stayed true to there design, and by which makes a real statement in these days of overdesign, they never really comprimise, simple and classic, as it looks best.
Puma trying to get attention with an overdesigned shirt just looks bad on there branding, also on the image of Feyenoord, which has a great following worldwide. This could effect the image of the club.
Those that criticize Kappa probably dont understand the influence there design has had on other shirt manufacturers, especially Puma, which has been been ripping off Kappa since they returned to football shirts early 2000.
Those diagonal lines won\'t look good at all.
