from that ultra-awesome nike kit to this for-the-douches-by-the-douches piece of crap. no doubt adriano is the emperor... of tackiness, that is. flamengo directors have been trying to get this contract with olympikus even before this season started, because this brand offered better economical terms than nike. that\'s the reason behind the whole \"bad luck shirt\" soap opera where they made nike change the previous shirt.....

The away kit looks like the São Paulo home kit.

Beautiful! Very beautiful!

Nike shirts are of low quality here in BraSil, and Olympikus is the company that makes the shirts for brazillian volleyball an have the rights to make the Reebok shirts in south america.

I buy one and the quality is much better than Nike!

If I had the choice of buying one shirt it would be the Flamego home shirt. Sadly Olympikus have managed to *******ise a truly classic look (as per last season\'s Nike shirt ) with a too clever by half fancy neck innovation/design which does nothing for the shirt. From a football shirt lover\'s perspective on a par with high treason. Now time for my lie down...

Its ok just a hooped shirt with a different neckline which is a nice idea. The others are pretty average

At least they tried something new with the neckline of the home shirt, but it just doesn\'t work. The away kit is ok though.

Why is \"trying sth. new\" a good thing?

After all these years of watching new kits being revealed, it\'s clear to me:

A classic simple design = a great kit.
Trying something fancy = crap

Best regards.

Nike kits are nice but they always have problem with delivering kits to shops.. at least in brazil its like that.

OLYMPIKUS are helping FLAMENGO with 40millions reais.
THATS ALOT!
and come on guys!
the jerseys is not so nice but not so ugly!
Just take a deep look at so many crap jerseys by nike adidas.. KAPPA. JACKO many others.

and somebody mentioned the away jersey looking like Sao Paulo. Its not! The away kits was always white with red/black strypes horizontally.
I am thinkin of buying the away with long sleeves

Awfull one. I always like flamengo kits, but this is a piece of crap. I remember te great umbro kits of mengo...

But in the other hand is great that a south american mark takes this gigantic contract...
Besides is the first effort of olimpicus in the football kits...i wish they get better...bacause this sucks big.

It\'s weird seeing the Flamengo kit without the Petrobras logo on it. Just looks like a rip-off Dennis The Menace top.

I´m a big Flamengo supporter and the deal with Olympikus is much better for the club than the Nike one. But let´s face it: the home kit it probably the ugliest one ever. I´ll buy only the away kit.

Flamengo is the team with more fans in Brazil and worldwide, with good players as emperor Adriano, Kléberson, Íbson.

Financially, this is the biggest contract in sports material of history in Brazil

This kit produced by Olimpikus, is a innovative kit, although not seen in any other kit. The new sometimes is not well received, the impact is large.
But in my opinion, only the details in the neck (home) have not been approved, the rest is OK.

OLK Kit has the strongest colors of the Nike kit 08/09.

Very beautiful, the height of the tradition of the biggest Brazilian club.

On last Wednesday, the club announced that in three weeks, sold 204,750 shirts in advance - which is the club for U.S. $ 1.7 million for royalties only. With Nike, Flamengo used sold only $ 120 thousand units per year.

what is normally a classic traditional shirt, from adidas to umbro to nike has been ruined. why the need for th e stipid shape of the top stripe twisting to the neck.

if I was flamengo fan I would be furious about this disgrace to the clubs tradtional shirt.

whoever said the nike kit is of poor quality obviously did not buy the official kit. There are cheap knockoffs that you can buy at Maracana or you can go to the Flamengo Club and buy the official ones. I was in Rio for 2 months last summer and had the pleasure of seeing 3 matches at Maracana, the 3rd time I even sat in the Raça section by myself(I\'m a gringo) and had the best time ever, the atmosphere of Raça is unmatched by any club.

I bought the official Nike kit from the Flamengo club and it\'s one of the best kits I own. Nike has the best quality kits by far in my opinion. This new kit looks awful and I would be willing to bet it\'s poor quality, BUT I\'m all for Flamengo getting more money for their shirt deal. Whatever helps out the club is ultimately the better choice, but that being said will I ask my friend to pick up this kit for me when they go to Rio next month? HELL NO! So glad I got the last Nike kit while I was down there.

Look how amazing the nike kit looked without the sponsor logo on it when they played last weekend. It looks like the classic Flamengo kits. The new one is a travesty.
