Poor shape, the red/yellow stripe matches nothing on the purple kit. the green kit is marginally better but has few redeeming features. Poor.

Oh, yes. Oh, I like that. Would look even better if it was symmetrical but nice job from the Joma team.

Surely the most obscure team ever featured on FSC?

As goalkeeper kit these would be OK. But without knowing the traditions of the club, these appear hideous. I\'d be annoyed as CEO of the mob sponsoring below the number on back of shirt as it is very unclear. Both players seem to be showing their feelings towards the kit..... or are they practising their band poses???

Joma makes the ugliest stuff of all but these are nice kits.
Isn`t that the same Template like Sevilla had it last year?

It is a real shock when we\'ve just seen Real Madrid or Liverpool\'s kits to see a so poor shirt.
But it\'s the Jupilerleague

Home looks okay, and I like the side stripes on the shirt. The two headed eagle crest should be over the heart though on the shirt.

as for the away, lets see.......:-x

Germinal Beerschot is one of the two teams in Antwerp, Belgium (the other team keeps it simple and is just called Antwerp). I can understand that you don\'t know this team, but it is certainly not more \"obscure\" than some of the teams of the First and Second Division in England from which shirts are also released on this site...
I think the shirts are quite ok, there is better of course, but at least it is an improvement of last year:

this is hardly an obscure team. They ar Premier league in Belgium really no more obscure than Club Brugge or Anderlecht... as for the kits... they suck! horrible.

I am very familiar with Club Brugge and Anderlecht.

I couldn\'t tell you the name of the team we are discussing right now without checking the top of the page again.

Trust me, they are obscure.

I think regardless that the kit of Germinal Beerschot isn\'t more beautiful as a kit of a team of \"national\",the third division in France.......grave for a team belonging to a fisrt division

As far as I\'m concerned I don\'t believe that the beauty of a kit correlates with the level on wich a team is playing. It is perfectly possible that a club in 5th division can have a nicer shirt than a club in the Premier League, or not? So your comment does not make any sense at all. By the way, the kits of FC Lorient, OGC Nice and Le Havre (all Ligue 1 in France) are at least as ugly as this shirt...

Of course, but the supplier is expensive,isn\'t it?

After,I recognize that creativity belongs to all suppliers and all teams,don\'t worry

I disagree with the haters who think teams can only wear red or blue.

Germinal has always been purple, yellow, and red. Who else in the WORLD has that combination? It sure ain\'t BORING like the Premiership where there are like three colours in ALL of the League and half the league wears red shirts.

The home looks great. A difficult combination to do but it works here.

The away is non-traditional, but again, it\'s creative without being overdone. Lime green and purple actually make a sound combination. A bit over the top yes. Boring? No.

Not everybody should be white or red.

It\'s true, but ths design is missed. It would be better with stripes all the long of the height.
I know teams playing in purple In France,Istres and Toulouse for example

Germinal Beerschot is born when 2 teams (Germinal Ekeren and Beerscjot VAC)
merged in 1999.
Germinal Ekeren colors were red and yellow, Beerschot colors were purple and white.

I know I could look it up but are they named after the novel \'Germinal\' written by Emile Zola ? The shirts look funny shaped...quite like the colours tho\'. And I\'d get the socks and shorts.

According to Wikipedia, this team is nicknamed \"De Ratten...\" I\'d say these kits are pretty rotten.

Those colours look like they come from a 1980s warm up suit.
