Getafe CF unveiled the new 09/10 Kits made by Joma.

Getafe also signed a sponsor deal with Burger King (inside and outside), and has Galco on the back of the shorts, and SDS on the front.

Burger King's philosophy of 'As You Want' combines values as "fun, fidelity and authenticity" that identify with the world of football and in particular "the spirit of Getafe and their unconditional passion," explained the Company at the presentation.

 Thanks to Julen

I\'m speechless... the lines are ridiculous, the burguer king advertisemente is just plain old silly, and the model players that wear them are truly embarassed by it! Poor getafe fans, you are going to be the laughing stock every sunday in spain...thank god you wont be in europe this season... this is definitely the 2nd most horrible shirt ever made. Yes, the second, because the ugliest jersey in the word was, is, and will always be the benfica jersey... SPORTING 4LIFE! Cheers

If that face is really going to appear on the inside of the shirt.... words just fail me.

If sporting institutions are going to be sponsored by junk food chains, what kind of message is that sending out to kids? It\'s bad enough Liverpool being sponsored by Carlsberg.

Who\'s going to be the first club sponsored by Benson and Hedges? Why not go the whole hog and have \"ASBOs and self-harming are cool\" written across a shirt. Ok, maybe that\'s going a bit far.

OMG...WTF is that!? Don\'t tell me that this BK-king-face-thing really is on the inside of the shirt!?!?!?
These shirts are sooooooo horrible! I thought, that in the 90s the shirts were ugly, but these are uglyer (is that the right form?^^) than everything I ever saw \'til now. Poor Getafe fans... :0

the logo isnt on the players shirts. look at the pic above you will see the patch from the outside(wrinkled). if you look on the official u don\'t see the same wrinkle. i dont know if the face is offical though on replicas, still its funny as hell, man, getafe better have gotten mad money for that :D

I\'m seriously not joking but I think this could stop Getafe attracting players. The shirt it\'self is great. The logo is pathetic...But to make it worse....INSIDE OUT YOU HAVE THE KING....Just imagine if it hangs down you got the kings mouth on your nuts...
It\'s just disgraceful for a great club and look....NONE of the players look happy wearing it. I literally cannot discribe how awful this is....I really really can\'t.
Advertising BK when you need to cut down ?
Oh my.
And what if a young chubby Getafe supporter wears this to school ? He\'s in a locker straight away.

The template itself is very original. this would have looked awesome in Watford colours.

Minus the King logo though, maybe a big picture of Jay DeMerit looking mad would have been a good one!

100 something th comment ;-)

Ladies and gentlemen, the bottom the barrel has now passed and we are no longer scraping it. Joma have taken us 10 feet below the barrel and it just goes to show that innovation is not always a good thing.

Designed on the day that teaste and decency were on holiday, this utter abomination is beneath contempt - no wonder the players in the pictures look like men about to face a firing squad.

Not only is the design the sloppiest piece of crap ever seen (the exsposed stitching, the vile out of focus stripes and the unfinished collar) the burger \"king\" on the inside of the shirt just smacks of Getafe unzipping and rolling down their trousers and inviting BK to fill their boots.

The only shirt in histroy to make me feel sick. My heart goes out to the Getafe fans, you deserve better.

First thought was, \"Wow, an athletic club with a fast-food sponsor - how horrible!\" Then, I see they put a king under the kit. Are all players obligated by the sponsor to lift their shirts over their faces when they score?

I think they Getafe should have had the balls to go all the way and just put the Burger King\'s face on the outside front of the shirt and not have the words \"Burger King\" on the front. Everyone instantly recognizes the face of the Burger King from all the commercial ads. Maybe they could have a Burger King Mascot run around the stadium throwing free fresh cheeseburgers to Getafe fans while the home games are going on. That would be funny as hell seeing that on TV around the world.

I think personally for me that it would be hard to play seriously against Getafe if I was a player on an opposing team if everytime a Getafe player came towards me to try to take the ball away from me that I saw the face of the Burger King on the front of their shirts. It would be a distraction (funny) that would last a few milliseconds but in sports a few milliseconds hesitation can be the difference between winning and losing. It could be a purposefully created diversion in the incredibly fast paced game of world football where lighting quick reflexes and the ability to make sudden changes in velocity and direction are a major asset and advantage.

Well I as a Getafe fan I\'m astouned. I was raised in England by Spanish family not a single member of my family speak English even after 15 years of living here \"and you thought tevez was bad)....apart from my sister....
Anyways I have supported Getafe all my life and never have I seen this monstrosity.
I think there will be campaigns against this.
Now I think the Colisium maybe name-changed into \"Kings Palace\" or \"Burger King Park\" just like Boltons \"REEBOK STADIUM\" or FC DALLAS\'\"Pizza hut Park\"
I\'m really disappointed I cannot buy a shirt like this nowfor a few years untill hopefully we dont renew our deal with Burger King. I really am disappointed.

Im with you, buddy. If my club had a t-shirt looking like that id set fire to the stadium and put a hit on the president that signed that contract...one things for sure: Ronaldo will have a few burgers to eat when he faces getafe this year...lololollolol
Peace, man.

I quite like the white shirt, minus the sponsor logo of course. The King on the inside is ****ing hilarious though; what a joke! Joma fail, but Getafe fail even harder for allowing **** like that.

I\'d get the white shirt if it came sponsorless or with a different, more acceptable sponsor.

I can\'t figure out why you are so surprised about a fast food chain sponsoring a football team.
I mean, McDonald\'s has been a major CL and FIFA sponsor for years. So has Coca Cola (also a factor for overweight). No one has ever worried about that.
Also, Heineken is a CL sponsor, Budweiser a FIFA sponsor. So why blame Liverpool for promoting Carlsberg when the leading associations do it the same way.

As for the shirts, I don\'t like them too much ;-). The BK logo looks really cheap, almost like a sticker. The inside print, however, could make the shirt a bestseller across Europe, I think. The idea is unique and I\'m quite sure that a lot of people will consider buying the shirt just for the fun of showing the king. At least, I would bet that they will sell more shirts than ever. That is, given the king on the inside will be on the replica shirts, as well.
