Grimsby Town fans have the chance to pick the shirt that the Mariners will wear for the 2009/ 2010 Season.

The club have once again teamed up with Italian sportswear manufacturer, Errea, to produce designs for the supporters to choose from. Commercial Manager, Dave Smith said: "We thought that it would be a good idea to let fans have their say in what the team will be wearing next season.

Errea have been great in helping us with this project and fully endorse the fact that we have opened up the choice to supporters."

Voting ends at 12 noon on Friday 20th February. One winner will be selected at random.

Tricky one this. 1 is a true clssic, but I really like the styling of 2.
I prefer number 2 but I think the people of Grimsby will go for 1 as they are a very traditionally minded club.

Nice to see some new striped designs. I don\'t know much about Errea but hats off to their design team. Number 2 is the best

Both designs are good in there own different ways.
1.) Classic, simple and a bit retro.
2.) More unique and modern.
Personally i cant decide.

I had a look on the errea site and the TITANIUM logo is for the NANOTECHNOLOGY fabric that they use for some of their pro clubs (Middlesbrough, Atalanta and Parma).
For those of you who like the technical stuff, it is well worth a look: www.errea.it

Agree with most people that these are both good designs, 2 is one of the most original templates we\'ve seen in a while. Number 2 in different tones of red or whatever could make an interesting away kit.

KIT 1

the second one is not that bad, I like the front design, but I can\'t stand the all black back,
and I like the kit 1 striped sleeves.
I hope it will have red name and number

Perhaps if #1\'s shoulder design continued down the sleeves it would look better, but the kit wouldn\'t look out of place 15 years ago.
#2 is rather modern and stylish. #2 all the way.

I prefer number two personally, although it does look a lot like the Le Coq Sportif design Man City have this season.

#1 looks a hell of a lot better. Much cleaner, not a lot of stuff going on. I like it.

You are currently with errea and look at what they have come up with for Grimsby who are near the bottom of League 2. While Nike are giving Palace, a club with realistic Premiership aspirations, shirts straight from their park\'s catalogue.
Palace fans must be absolutely delighted.

Shame the stripes didn\'t continue all the way to the top on Number 1. Number 2 for me.

Although I agree with other posts stating that number 2 is definitely original, I really don\'t like the overall effect. It\'s a weird, messy mixture of 3 shirts : a \'black Monaco\' & Newcastle shirt at the front, and a \'black Arsenal\' shirt at the back. The number 1 shirt is by no means perfect, but at least it has a stronger identity.

Number 1 would be my choice but why the plain white back? If the number has to be made more legible then why not a small patch around it in white or black, instead of some stupid plain back which could cause some kit clashing problems that we\'ve seen in League 2 already this season?

1 is traditional but 2 has lots of style. I would go for 1 coz you have to play in black and white.
