These are the brand new Grimsby Town 2009/ 2010 Errea home and away kits.

Thousands of supporters voted and chose home shirt Design 1 for the forthcoming campaign.

The new kits are expected to be a massive hit with Town fans and they will go on sale for the first time at a special launch event in McMenemys on Sunday. The shirts are also available from our online club shop.

The prices for the new shirts are absolutely the same as last year - £39.99 for an adult shirt and £34.99 for junior sizes.

Speaking about the new kits, commercial manager, Dave Smith, said: " I really hope supporters like the new kits for this season.

Speaking about the new kits, commercial manager, Dave Smith, said: " I really hope supporters like the new kits for this season.

"We had a great response to the designs for the new home strip and the voting was very, very close. The winning design has also been made in Errea's innovative ti-energy fabric and we all feel that the strip looks really fresh and exciting. This is our second season with Errea and they have been a pleasure to work with. Let's also hope that this new kit brings us some good luck in the coming season."

Fabrizio Taddei, Errea's export manager commented: "I know that Grimsby Town are launching the new nanotechnology home shirt this weekend and I just wanted to take this opportunity to wish everybody at Grimsby Town FC good luck for the launch and, of course, for the 2009-10 season. We are very pleased to be entering our second season together and hope that this is just the beginning of a long and fruitful relationship.

"As you know we are the first and so far the only Teamwear company to use the revolutionary nanotechnology fabric to produce replicas. The innovative ti-energy Errea fabric is characterized by the presence of silver and titanium nano particles bestowing our garmets with revolutionary properties: Water and oil repellent Anti static Anti bacterial Breathable In particular, the titanium particles through the emission of IR waves help to keep the body and muscle temperature constant thus favouring prevention of injuries and rapid recovery.

That is dreadful. It\'s so dated. Not cool at all.

I would feel bad for the fans but they actually voted for this design! The other options must have been pitiful.

What the ...??
GET YOUR HAIR OFF the collar and the crest...!
Are we supposed to guess how does that look or are you hiding it on purpose??
Chicks modeling footie shirts is getting silly.
They should better put a player wear a shirt and a chick wear a bikini or less next to him...

The away reminds me of Man Utd\'s 3rd kit from 1996/97. Not great

The home would be fine if not for the big white patch on the back. It\'s not like they\'ll be playing in Europe next season, so there\'s no need for it really.

It does!

They\'ve really got their finger on the pulse at Errea, haven\'t they? Ripping off a kit from12 years ago!

It looks nothing like it other than its blue with black trim...So it looks the same eh ...no collar, coloured panels in a different place no pinstripes...apart from that its an exact copy ..oh yes and the material is different by a long way but clearly it looks the same in every way apart from that......you clearly need a braille computer Sh1t for brains...but woow doesn\'t that home kit look like Juventus though what a rip off of the Kappa Juve kit from years ago

Either have the stripes all over, or don\'t bother. All these teams with striped and hooped shirts with plain backs don\'t seem to realise how stupid they look on the plain replica versions.

Both kits are not that bad - not sure why some act like it was the worst thing on earth. Juve, Newcastle, and others with their black/white striped kits are not better nor worse than these. And the away kit has a good blue with some decent piping. The comment on the socks looking good is correct. Heck, the Azzuri are sporting brown - yep, that\'s not a mistake - brown socks and a few years Boca Juniors had argyle blue/yellow socks before they finally ditched them.

Grimsby Town gets a decent grade in my book on this.

I\'ve gotta agree. I like pretty girls, I like football shirts but I don\'t want to see new kits modelled by pretty girls. It doesn\'t show the cut and they often cover too much detail with their hair.

Yet another kit spoiled by the plain bit at the back of the shirt. UEFA\'s fault this, now kit manufacturers down the leagues catch the bug.

Bring back proper stripes!!!!!!!!!!

Cant believe some of the comments. Someone must consider a braille version of this site for you lot to check out or maybe you should have gone to specsavers.
Reality is - Great design for both home and away, classic style (very much in fashion at the moment if you hadnt noticed!), good colour match across entire kit selections (look at trim colours) and innovative fabric. Notice even the replicas are made out of this Nano technology stuff. Cant say that about your nondescript Man U copy.
Thank you Errea (although the white back needs a rethink) for a great kit & thank you Grimsby for a decent model to hang them on. Why you lot want to look at blokes modelling kits is beyond me.
Go back to your computer games- saddos.

Errea have produced some of the best kits for next season. Better them than crappy Nike or Adidas designs with little thought or style pushed onto gullible clubs that want to get their hands on their squillion dollar marketing budgets.
The Errea kits for Burnley or Grimsby will stay longer in the memory that those of Fulham, Man disUnited or France, Germany, Ukraine etc. made by the corporate giants. More Errea kits please.

Good looking kit I particularly like the away kit . Note to all corporate Adidas Puma and nike clubs get yourself a company who can design something which you really want and like not what everyone else is wearing. Well done Errea and if I\'m in Grimsby I think I\'ll visit the club shop .....gert lush she is !
