Heart of Midlothian Football Club (Hearts) revealed its all new home kit for 2009-10 made by Umbro.

The Gorgie outfit's new kit features the introduction of a simple two-tone shirt with traditional collar, and white flashes.

White shorts are also back for next season, whilst the team will also play in white socks with maroon flashes.

The all new home goalkeeper kit is also revealed today, a vibrant electric yellow sure to be hugely popular with kids!

This year's kits are uniquely designed and produced for Hearts by Umbro, one of the world's leading sports manufacturers.

The home kits go on sale on Friday 19th June, with an exclusive pre-launch party on Thursday 18th June from 6pm-9pm at Tynecastle in the Gorgie Stand.

Not keen on the white \'sabre tooth\' stripes down the sides but apart fom that it\'s not too bad.

My primary school football team had a similar kit in 1989. Not bad though, good to see white shorts back and the Umbro logo descend back down from the shoulder.

I thought that Rangers were changing to Adidas anyway?

Either way, back to the Hearts kit and yeah I noticed the shininess too, I don\'t like to try and judge kits I haven\'t seen with my own eyes but the shine\'s offputting and on the whole it looks a bit cheap.

Why must all goalkeeping kits look like dayglo pajama sets now? I would be embarrassed to turn out in that garbage.

It\'s gamesmanship. the more distracting the shirt the worse it is for the opposing forwards (although they will spot you coming off your line a fair bit easier). Remember Jorge Campos?

When i first saw andy driver wearing it in the paper, i wasny too keen on the white flashes down the sides, but im totally used to them after about 10 minutes.
definetely going to buy it.

for once i may actually buy the goalkeeper kit. its not bad at all. does look like it reflects a sh|tload offa baloghs chin though.
hope the away kit is gooad too.

I was hoping for a collared shirt, so that is a plus. The white shorts and socks are growing on me (hated them at first glance), but I really don\'t like the white striping on the top. Unneccessary with the white shorts and socks.

Why must all goalkeeping kits look like dayglo pajama sets now? I would be embarrassed to turn out in that garbage.

Now if we can get a decent change kit to replace that hideous black and white number we had this season.

these shirts must have been sponsorless when the photos were taken.

obvious.

look at the picture of kingston, balogh and driver. look at how the ukio bankas logo on kingstons shirt is more centred with the collar than the logo on drivers shirt which seems thrown to the left.

must have been shopped in just to give us an idea of the sponsors look.... its ok. would prefer sumthin new rather than ukio bankas.

i love the kit. ideally i would prefer it without the white flashes, then it would be the most perfect kit ever.
but hey, its a beuty nonetheless.

keeper kit is definetly a must have.

Not only that, but badly photo-shopped.

They haven\'t sheared or manipulated it so it follows the same plane that the shirt follows.

It\'s just a flat logo they dropped on and tilted for the goalie.

I think a collar like the one in the AC Milan new shirt would have been better...but apart from that, it\'s quite nice...

The white stripes are not great, but the more subtle pinstripes are really classy.

Poor kit, looks cheap and nasty! worst hearts top in years, looks like a early 90s top.

I like it. The white stripes are pretty cool and thankfully not like boring Nike kits that all look the same. I hope the Rangers kit has the two tone stripes when it eventualy comes out. I dont think the Gers are going to adidas. Lets hope not anyway. Bring on Kappa for the Gers

I\'d love to see Celtic in Kappa as well. Kappa turn out some quality kits. I cannot think of one bad top from them yet.

Awful!!!! Looks cheap and 80s (in a bad way). Ugly collar and the white flashes seem to be an afterthough, which doesnt go with the rest of the \'design\'.

I REALLY hope this template isnt used on Rangers

Its a bit of a marmite top..some parts are great some are crap. Don\'t like collar but in general it is quite good. Like an updated 80\'s kit

Waited ages for this to be revealed and not too much of a fan - I do like it more than when I first looked at it - but the white bits are odd. The 80\'s shine is actually okay, but not with a 90\'s collar. A V-neck would have been better.

Disappointed, didn\'t get a home shirt last season and was looking forward to getting this, maybe still will but wonder what the away will be like

Anyone got any decent idea on when the away is due to be out - without wild guessing??!

One last point - the left collar flap is too close to the badge - but I know im getting really picky now

Did you know that it says \"This year\'s kits are uniquely designed and produced for Hearts by Umbro\" when if you see the new blackburn home, it is the same but in different colours

Blackburn Home isn\'t out yet is it? The away one is - however that is not the same. Different collar and flashes similar but not quite identical I believe.

Still I do agree if it\'s branded as \'unique\' it should be a little more special

Obviously where you come from Tesco stock such items. Which is handy for your hobby! The rest of the world it just sells milk and teabags fella.

Try asking girls out properly - they have breasts and all sorts, your gonna LOVE it when you get laid

Since the TV career went south my only enjoyment is watching the Mini-Huns spiral down the pan. Plus, I have had more girls than you can image - there are videos of my girlfriend (Abi) all over the web.....

I believe she is your ex, obviously your mind has gone down the pan as well. Oh and your persona - unless you really are John Leslie in which case it\'s even more funny to be ripping you on a footy shirts web site!

Spiralling down the pan? If we continue to \'spiral down the pan\' as you put it as this rate long may it continue! Streets ahead of your lot this term and ended up 3rd and in Europa League - yep a dreadful season all in all. Bitterly disappointed

UGGGLLLLY! It looks like those mistakes Umbro used to make for Man Utd, Aberdeen and Celtic in the late 80s to early 90s. And Hearts are supposed to be in the Europa League this season. The Aberdeen strip redeems your representation is Europe.

And the rangers one will probably be, cause Umbro tend to use the same template. Look at last season\'s and look at Rangers. You even had the same saltire on the back, and the same stuching pattern. Heart\'s was just a murky brown and Rangers was hun blue. Different sponsors and logos. Other than that it was identical. So was all the English teams, they just didn\'t have the saltire. Everton and rangers were nearly indistinguishable.

Just seen the hibs strip and thought that one was bad but this one takes the biscuit. Cant wait to see the muppet team in the europa league next season lookin ridiculous running about in that top. It reminds me of big huge walkmans, VHS tapes, flock of seagulls and albert kidd!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :woohoo: And as for unique? Dont think so its just another strip designed by dumbro

Tbh i umnae to keen on the home strip and i dinnae ken why they put a collar on cos i think its outta place there. The goalie kit is horrid. Since when have we had a kit that looks like puke? Both the kits look really shiny aswell, or has balogh just dribbled on himself? Anyway, i still think ours is better than the cheapy hibees kits this year
