This is the new 09/10 Heerenveen Home kit made by Jako.
The stripes and waterlily leaves represent the districts of Friesland. The crest on the club emblem is the symbol of the flag of Friesland. The flag of Friesland is based on the arms of the 15th century.
A unique tradition in the Dutch eredivisie is that the Frysian national anthem is played and sung before every domestic match. The UEFA doesn't allow this tradition in European matches.

It\'s too messy on the shoulders, and it reminds me Puma 07/08 template, with those white panels under the shoulders instead of on the sleeves.
This Heerenveen strip just about sums Jako up.The kits Umbro did for Heerenveen were good, this strip...awful.
The use of red for the crew collar is good, but I don\'t think the shirt needs much more design than that.
\"hearts\", you idiots, learn how to read not just look at the pictures, children, you are obviously too young to be on the internet, go back to your studies...
Bizarre!
the so called \'\'hearts\'\' are \'\'pompebleden\'(pompleaves or something like that), they are the flag of our area.
Hey Deise-Boy, im a support of Sc Heerenveen :side: . Those \'hearts\' aren\'t hearts, it only looks like that. It means pump blades like this: http://farm1.static.flickr.com/76/192964296_f8372965de.jpg
So those are plants, but in realism they\'re green. It\'s typical Frisian, a province of Holland. B)
@ Minne Koopmans, thx for the information
I also thought it was hearts :cheer:
Anyway, the bad parts are mostly the shoulders. They make it look like a cheap and messy shirt, whereas Umbro made it look pretty classy. The flag is already messy-looking with the 7 red lilies on it, adding more to it just makes it look shit.
