Hertha BSC unveiled the new 09/10 home shirt made b y Nike.

Deutsche Bahn will remain the main sponsor of Hertha. The deal however will only run for two years. Bahn-boss Hartmut Mehdorn (who is leaving the company) was pictured with Hertha manager Dieter Hoeneß as the deal was announced at the new main railway station in Berlin.

The Bahn banner has graced Hertha shirts for three years. The new deal, which is expected to bring Hertha a much-needed 5,5 million Euro per season, is more performance-related than its predecessor.

Love it. Everything about the kit is classy. A nice reward for a great season.

Horrible!!! The neck is pure filth.

Along with a German mullet and some tight stonewashed jeans you will look like pedo\'s wearing that!

It looks like a reconditioned Hansa Rostock home shirt from the 95/96 season.

And what is it with that plain white bit on the back. I long for the day for proper striped shirts to return, not UEFA-friendly nonsense ones.

Agreed - that\'s hideous. Squint and you\'ve got the Brighton kit from 1997-8 sponsored by Sandtex and made by - I think - Super Sports. A neck so scratchy it\'d give an armadillo a rash. Ooh no.

The one modelled by the woman doesn\'t quite match the kit on the bear or the train. Pretty plain. I actually prefer the current kit, which is even plainer.

At least the Germans are following the South American trend and having dishy models wear the kit. She is quite lovely, almost distracts the eyes away from the hideous shirt.
