Hull City unveiled the new 09/10 home and away kits made by Umbro.

Umbro's Director of Football Simon Marsh said: "In light of the current economic climate it is testimony to the Club and its increasing profile that they have managed to secure such a prominent brand as totesport as their new sponsor for the forthcoming two seasons.

This announcement now enables Umbro and the club to launch its first and second choice playing kits for the 09/10 season, both of which we are extremely proud of as they provide a modern and contemporary twist to the heritage of the club.

The new Umbro home shirts in junior sizes will be on sale from 18 July 2009. The adult home shirts will be on sale from 25 July 2009 and both the adult and junior away shirts available from 1 August 2009.

The Tigers will debut both the new home and away playing strip during their pre-season campaign which commences in mid-July against North Ferriby United.

both are great, only the collar of the home kit is bad.

The Home is okay, but I think that Hull Missed a trick, by not having an all black home kit, as they had one 100 seasons ago. I do like the pinstripes - nice comprimise between an amber shirt and the stripes. The sponsor spoils both the shirts though, the Totesport looks wrong. I would have chosen Tiger Beer

Now they look like they belong in the EPL. Not spectacular kits but a step up from last season.

i like the home kit with the black lines. And in alot of kits this season they have those horrible colars but in the hull home it suits it nice.

Nice home kit, very 1980s (is it a replica of one Hull have had before?)

But a horrible, horrible sponsors\' logo that tarnishes the home shirt.

Sponsor would\'ve been better had it been all white.

Everyone who whinges about sponsor logos should wake up. It\'s not the kit manufacturers fault who the sponsor is. The sponsors pay a crap load of money to get their logo on the shirt and it should be on there how they want it. Without teh sponsors teh club\'s don\'t survive. Get real

A good 80s retro look on the home shirt, but like others have said, ruined by the sponsor\'s logo. Why, oh why isn\'t it black?

It is very much like our (Wolves) shirt of the early 80s which was also gold with black pinstripes and made by Umbro, only it was sponsored by Tatung not Samsung!

Depends if we can get Big Fraizer Campbell back to form a dream ticket with the Angolan sensation Manucho. If that happens - God help the rest of the Premier League. B)

\"In light of the current economic climate it is testimony to the Club and its increasing profile that they have managed to secure such a prominent brand as totesport as their new sponsor for the forthcoming two seasons.\"

In light of the current economic climate, very thoughtful of the Club to screw its fans for another 40 quid per shirt. \"Anonymous\" is right as well - Wolves wore an almost identical shirt in 1984.

I\'m a lover of pinstriped shirts,
This one is very good, and the collar makes it much greater.
But I don\'like the black striped on the sides

Think theyre great kits...the umbro kits seem to have taken a bit of a bashing here lately! out of nike, adidas, and umbro preseason, I think umbro have put out the best ones so far...lyons black/red away effort is a belter (albeit england new home kit doesnt do it for me)!

These, as much as I hate to say it, look like pub league bargin shirt. The material looks 100% nylon and the design... I do not even know where to start with the design. Last season\'s, while not particularly creative, look leagues (pun intended) better than this offering.

The home kit is nice, but I prefer Hull City with the thick orange and black stripes. The away is pretty cool, but last season\'s away was amazing so there is no comparison. I\'m glad I bought it.

I think it\'s okay.

That said, after seeing Man City\'s and the England kit, it looks second-rate. I prefer the new (old) squarer umbro motif, but they still put the \'sports direct\' one on this shirt.

All those who moan about the sponsor, behave. Would you rather have a colour sponsor and Frazier Campbell, or a black one only to be able to afford to re-sign Dean Windass?

Muppets - spewing rubbish before thinking.

- Our owners want to change between PLAIN and STRIPES each season, so that people don\'t moan and say every kit looks the same each season.

They know how to rake in the pennies...

The home kit is fantastic.Looks like Wolves from about 1984 but still looks good.
Sky blue away shirt? If Hull had a white shirt which is the reverse of the home kit, that would be cool.
Overall,not bad though.

Not bad but seems second-class and sub-standard compared to the England and Man City tailored kits...

I wonder if Rangers\' next kits will be the tailored ones or this cheaper alternative.

Love the home shirt, not too sure on the away shirt, the blue looks a bit bright. Sponsor is a good one, we have to go for whoever offers the most money.

One other good thing is that it won\'t clash with Newcastle and West Brom this season.

Huul City should alway\'s play in Stripes it\'s tradition. It\'s like Nwcastle playing in all white, or Sheff Wed playing in all blue. This is too much like the wolves strip.
