Nike Indonesia has also officially launched their new 09/10 kit last month and although it was already worn by the National Team at the AFF Suzuki Cup 2008 here are some great pictures of the home kit.
The kit has a dynamic fit design with the FIT DRY technology so that players are always dry and fresh throughout the game.
Inspired by the unique culture of Indonesia, the kit has the Garuda Pancasila on the left chest, near the heart, which represents and remind the players of the fact that that they play for their country. As a symbol of creative energy, the Garuda is gold and black.
The official national motto of Indonesia : Bhinneka Tunggal Ika is also printed on the shirt. 'Bhinneka Tunggal Ika' is Old Javanese and is often loosely translated as 'Unity in Diversity' but literally it means '(Although) in pieces, yet One'.
It is stated in the national symbol, Garuda Pancasila (as written on the scroll gripped by Garuda's leg)
This is a quotation from an Old Javanese poem kakawin Sutasoma, written by Mpu Tantular during the reign of the Majapahit empire sometime in the 14th century. Kakawin or Kawya, are epic poems written in Indian metres.
This poem is notable as it promotes tolerance between Hindus (Shivaites) and Buddhists.
The green and white away kit, is symbolizing the holy spirit.

Then why did you buy it ?
Personally, I really like the neck/collar.
Oh yes, the Thailand shirt I just looked at.
I know that these are not some of the biggest teams on the planet, but they are national squads and shouls at least have something distinctive about them. I am not saying that they should have outlandish designs, but surely they could come up with some variation.
glad haven\'t found this in 3XL size....
Nike need to realise if they are to change kits every season they cannoit just nick the previous seasons kit that got rejected last time, they have to \'design\' the kit. Thsi is just another nicking of template from euro2008. On the positive side I do like the white flashes from the bottom up on the shirt.

well done nike.... your designers really really deserved to be paid handsomely... Hahahaaa, how i wish i got the nike designer job.... its so simple, use the double v neck collar template, add the national colour, add the country name on the back of the collar, stick the county flag or logo on the chest and KAAZZZAAAAAM, magic!!!! The kit is ready. ....
It seems that Nike gets tired of doing things differently and try to do this simple (even way too simple). Remembering for World Cup 2002 and Euro 2004, their template was great, especially for Euro when they put the Swoosh near the right shoulder instead of the traditional right chest. That very idea was soon followed by all other companies, including Adidas. At World Cup 2006, Adidas and Puma put their logo on top of the middle chest. While Nike took it old school and made the chest number and logo arrangement back to the original.
Since then, Adidas makes more experiment in their design and Nike just make it simple.
..its almost too unique
I'm from Holland
