This is the new Kaizer Chiefs 09/10 Home football shirt made by Nike.

Kaiser Chiefs, the British indie/britpop band from Leeds, was named after this South African football club, a team which former Leeds United defender Lucas Radebe played for.

It\'s not a typo. The team was named after it\'s founder kaizer motaung. That\'s with the z. The british band was named after it but kaizer became kaiser. I dunno why but that\'s What it is. Been waitin for some south african kits for awhile, pls could someone find out if orlando pirates will hav a new 3rd kit based on the new templates. Forever buccaneer

As best I can tell it\'s the Celtic tartan shirt template, but obviously a bit less garish. It\'s quite good.

Neat, simple, classic design.

With probably the best badge in world football.

If only all football kits were made this way.

As stated in the blurb, Kaiser Chief were indeed named in honour of Leeds star Lucas Radebe who used to play for Kaizer Chiefs. They asked his permission apparently agreed but they had to slightly change the name due to copyright issues with the team.

As for the shirt disappointing: ok design but cheap looking iron on badge and sticky badge plastic logo. Good have been done much better imo

You clearly don\'t follow world Soccer do you? The name of this great SOUTH AFRICAN team is Kaizer Chiefs: named after the soccer star who established it, KaiZer Motaung. Sobefore you make anymore dumb comments arm yourself with proper knowledge. I.E. Theband named itself after the team; not the other way round. And this goes for any other numb-nuts who says the Z in Kaizer is wrong!!!
