Lazio unveiled the 09/10 home and away kits made by Puma.

Lazio's colours of white and sky blue were inspired by the national emblem of Greece, due to the fact that Lazio is a mixed sports club this was chosen in recognition of the fact that the Ancient Olympic Games and along with it the sporting tradition in Europe is linked to Greece.

Originally Lazio wore a shirt which was divided into white and sky blue quarters, with black shorts and socks. After a while of wearing a plain white shirt very early on, Lazio reverted to the colours which they wear today.

Some seasons Lazio have used a sky blue and white shirt with stripes, but usually it is sky blue with a white trim, with the white shorts and socks. The club's colours have led to their Italian nickname of biancocelesti.

Don\'t like the v around the neck on the home, but it works quite well on the away

Surely the Italian target above the badge should be green on the outside

Lazio usually have nice tops and this is no exception.

Anything would be better than the filthy colours worn by the confirmed cheats of Roma

I\'m guessing last year\'s yellow away kit is being retained.

No, it\'s different - usually the green band is on the outside of the badge. Scroll down to the Inter shirt to see...

No, its right. Inter get the green on the outside because they are champions. a different one (reversed) is used for the cup winners. i have a roma top from 07/08 and it has the outer red one and they won the cup the season previous. say if AC win the league this year, next year they will have the green on outside roundel B)

no man, from the 2006/2007 season the coppa italia winner\'s badge is changed!
the picture in your link refers to the 2005/2006 season! you can see it on the last roma shirts or on the inter shirts of 2006/2007

Hang on, the league champions have the shield, not the circle, no?

Hey Russel, If you click on the link and scroll past the inter kit to the Roma kit it tells you they updated the badge for the coppa italia winners, from red in the middle to green in the middle. Read your own links before passing comment in the future please!

This template with the collarbones by Puma is really freakish-looking, and on Lazio it clearly looks outrageous. No, I am not just aimlessly slamming it; I understand designers want to be creative. However, do we really think people are going to fork over about GBP50 for a kit that looks like this? Especially given a global recession? I seriously doubt when the cameras pan across the audiences in stadiums you will see many people wearing the collarbones. You\'d think in these belt-tightening times, the big companies (Nike, Adidas, Puma) would have been a bit more conservative and played it safer. Instead, Nike is bent on making all their kits look like overpriced t-shirts, while Puma is intent on seeing how many fools will buy their kits like this one. Adidas is not innocent with their bra-style kit (see Chelsea\'s home kit), but at least their standard kit with a collar is alright.

Can\'t Lazio just steal the Italy Confederations Cup jersey? Italy would want to forget that Cup failure, the shirt is made by the same company and its about the same coulor as lazio plus it looks 1000x better than this Puma one.

The second worst shirt to come from Puma this season, after that Spurs disaster.

I think more supporters should follow Feyenoord\'s lead and complain more vocally about this year\'s Puma template, to try and get it pulled. it pains me to see yet another club\'s traditional look ruined by Puma\'s hideous template this year. Spurs, Reading, Sporting, and now Lazio.

Thank god for retro shirts.

i can make a strong prediction that lazio\'s 110th anniversary kit template will in fact be italia\'s confederations cup kit... only with lazio badging and probably the same horizontal (shadow/ghost) pattern .... i believe monaco is using this same template .... so the template is not exclusive to the azzurri and can be used by other clubs

i\'m keeping my fingers crossed

FORZA LAZIO

The home kit is horrible... the 2nd kit works if you watch it close..... but from the Olimpico stadium seats... \"Hallo, sailors!\"
