Leicester City's supporters now have the chance to decide what will go on the front of Leicester City's 09/10 shirts for next season.

As part of the club's 125th anniversary celebrations, the club are dispensing with a commercial club sponsor and allowing fans the chance to decide on-shirt branding for the 2009-10 campaign.

The four choices have been drawn up following consultation with a variety of supporters and fans groups.

Voting will be limited to one vote per person and the closing date for voting is Sunday 12 noon.

An announcement of the winner will be made later the following week.

Club chairman Milan Mandaric said: "This is the fairest way possible for fans to have the ultimate decision on what goes on the front of our shirts for next season.

"Whichever option attracts the most votes is the choice we will adopt. We would expect substantial interest with thousands of votes being cast.

"We are sure this will generate substantial debate among supporters and we are all very interested to see who the winner will be."
A - 'Forever Foxes'
Forever Foxes is a statement about the special and enduring relationship between the fans and the club. It is about the truth that once you are a Leicester fan, in your heart you will always be a Leicester fan, through the highs, lows and ever changing faces of the club.

B - '125 Years'
This option is a recognition of the clubs 125th anniversary, which the club and supporters will proudly celebrate throughout the 2009/10 season.

C - 'Blue Army'
Blue Army is the well known name for the people of Leicester who love and follow their football club. It is the name and identity of that group, and recognition that without their passion and support the club could not thrive.

D - Blank

The reason for having a 'blank' option, is to say that the most important people are the supporters, and the blue shirt of Leicester, not high finance and corporate sponsors. This option gives the shirt back to the supporters.

How bizarre ! Need to know the design of the shirt so they can see what matches the best. Personally I think they should keep it plain and have some sort of commemorative label

Take shirt B and move the 125 to the opposite side of the badge and leave the rest of the shirt blank like shirt D.

the designs are just a guide. the only thing these illustrate is the branding across the middle.

so without a single doubt it has to be D. the others are embarrassingly bad.

Other clubs should follow suit and get rid of the horrible brands on their shirts! I for one hate having a sponser on the lovely Man City kit this year

I wish Barca would give fans the option to choose from several designs. I hate this year\'s kit.

I\'d say shirt B for reasons of subtlety. Leaving it blank would be nice but, seeing as they\'re dispensing with the sponsor, what\'s the point of voting for what you\'ve already got? Today is about a VOTE FOR CHANGE!

it simply has to be D. putting \"FOREVER FOXES\" or \"BLUE ARMY\" on the shirt would be an absolute crime and embarassment. A and B looki like something a 12 year old would put on thinking it was cool when it was, in fact, insanely lame. i implore all leicester city fans to vote D though the idea of putting the 125 in small where the shirt manufacturer normally goes is a strong idea also

The Blue Army and Forever Foxes variants look like the sort of haminess you\'d get on counterfeit Manchester United and Chelsea shirts sold from stalls on Oxford Street. They way they\'d say \'The Blues\' or \'Reds\' in a swirling Italic Times New Roman,

That chevron with the125 in it...far too formal. Touch of Swimming Certificate about it...

Go for the blank one.. !

Is this a JOKE ?????

I think giving fans an input as to what their team will wear is fantastic, but are Leicester actually saying that they are prepared to run out for an entire season in a shirt saying FOXES FFOREVER or BLUE ARMY, done in a dodgy print that looks like it has come form a while-you-wait T-Shirt shop?

I just don\'t get this one, at all.

I\'m not a foxes supporter but would go for D. Lets get back to tradition. Some sponsors logo\'s look good, others don\'t. I think any kind of slogan just looks naff and Americanised.
