I don\'t think the is the new Liverpool away kit.

There is 1 major flaw with this - won\'t they have the same problem as Man Utd had with the grey kit, not being able to see each other?????

Although Liverppool isn\'t the most intelligent place in the country I don\'t think even they are that daft. :silly: are you sure this ain\'t Man United\'s kit

I like adidas kits better when the three stripes go all the way down the sleeve.

It\'s their trade mark for god sake!!!!

Then you can\'t put the Premier league and Champ Leage badges on without going over the stripes - there is a reason for this

That looks great! A huge improvement on that horrendous grey one. Does anyone know what the European one will look like?

I actually heard the news that they would have a black kit with gold back in late October

Of course I was sceptical back then. Will rely on this source more from now on

Nice shirt, but Black is just so not Liverpool, and it still has that over fussy badge. would look much better in just yellow with red trim.

Let\'s be honest: it\'s a Kappa-style kit but with the 3 stripes and the Adidas logo.
If it was Kappa people would have already said \'crap\', \'same, \'boring\', but because it\'s Adidas then it\'s \'great\', \'nice\' and so on....

I think the only reason you\'re saying that is because it carry\'s the same sort of line style as a Kappa kit does, the inside out sort, even though Puma carried this a few times before too.

If it was skin tight then I\'d agree with you, otherwise, design wise it\'s an original Adidas template.

I was under the impression Leverpool may be altering the club badge to make the liverbird more prominant.

Other than that it\'s quite stylish. Though I am sucker for tradition:

Home - All Red with White trim
Away White shirts red trim, Black shorts
Third - All Yellow with Red trim

no this template is used for player kits only so if it\'s real it will be either the away kit or the european away kit, but seeing as the pic above shows the EPL numbers i\'d imagine this would be the domestic away kit.

On what I can appreciate (or not) about the new Adidas shirts, there are two templates: The one on Chelsea and Bayern Munich (looks like a rugby refferee shirt) And this one that matches with the alleged Real Madrid shirt (looks like a training shirt). When will Adidas come up with a bright marketing idea as Nike is doing with Manchester\'s new away shirt? The whole revival approach that Nike is doing is a hit.

The kit looks nice and intimidating. That is if it is the design for next season.

The shirt on the picture is a Far East fake. They can\'t even get the adidas logo correct on the shirt. The tag is also pathetically flawed.

The red reverse stitching looks dodgy.

And the club crest embriodery looks like it\'s been done by a 10 year old.

i work in the LFC club shop in town, and although ive not seen the pictures of the new kit (we had them in work a few months back) i do know that it will definitely be black with gold stripes and gold prem lettering. also, the reason why the stripes do not go all the way down the sleeve is because there needs to be room for prem badges (notice the gaps on player standard long sleeve shirts as well). it is certainly not a training kit. 09/10 european shirt will be white with red stripes and red euro style lettering.

anon, since you work in the LFC shop, is there anything that the above shirt is missing or that is wrong about the design that we should know about, or is it exact to what will be released??

Someone who i play football with has this jersey... he traded it with s.o for a SSV Jahn training shirt.
That someone he got it from bought it in turkey, so i dont think its a real kit

reply to frederick elliot:

like i said, i wasnt in work the day we had the pictures of the new kits, all i do know is it will definitely be black with gold stripes and lettering. the kit shown on this site could well be the definite one, however i cannot be sure. ive seen photo\'s on other websites of a black liverpool shirt with a collar, which i am sure is a fake as it is exactly the same template as the current european away kit.

the badge is over fussy because you have to have the eternal flames in to remember the 96 and to show that they are still in all liverpool fans and players hearts.

This is much better than the disgrace they had as a kit last season, but to be honest black really doesn\'t match Liverpool, white is the main colour for them.
