Manchester City 09/10 kits - preview
July 18th will mark the on-sale date of Manchester City FC’s home kit for the 2009/10 season. Inspired by the club’s heritage, the new kit will benefit from Umbro’s football tailoring process, delivering performance and style on and off the pitch.
The new kits will be available for pre-order in the FSC shop soon.
Most of us have already seen the new Man City 09/10 shirts, but here are some sneak previews.

That explains their traditional black & red striped away kit, but I\'m not sure about the origins of the white shirt with red & black diagonal stripes. Perhaps a City fan will enlighten us...
P.S. Don\'t forget the outcry from some Arsenal fans when they introduced a white away shirt the season before last. :evil:
I think the white away kit has the potential to be one of the best this season.
It\'s a shame that as far as we know City will be the only club benefitting from Umbro\'s tailoring concept.
I would love to see Watford in these kits. 1960s Watford kits were awesome with the old Hornet crest!
The white shirt with the red and black diagonal sash is the away kit when we last one something, the 1976 League Cup

Blackburn, West Ham, Sunderland....I as a Chelsea fan want Umbro back....Adidas always want to seem \' futuristic \' and foreign to every country...
Nike are boring and just have the colour the nike logo the emblem and the shirt logo......NO template.
Umbro seem to have this Retro feel.....

That would be hilarious! Sorry mate, but umbro for some reason are keeping similar templates for the same countries. So maybe along the lines of a blue hearts top?

Here\'s the Manchester City Umbro story
So, today sees Umbro and Manchester City announce a 10 year brand partnership. Most importantly, it marks the launch of the new City home kit which will be available from July 18th. A lot of excitement has surrounded this announcement, but why? What is it, exactly, about the Umbro and MCFC pairing that is so special? After some reading around and asking questions here
