It looks absolutely vulgar. A disgrace to a proud and excellent side1! I don\'t belive for one second that this is the real deal. The collar looks cheap and tacky. Nike would never use a simple piece of string with knots on either end, even on a classic remake. The nike logo and the badge are not at the same height and they are too far apart. The badge is practically disappearing under the sleeve. Our 2006/2007 kit was also a classic remake, but it still looked like you could play 90 minutes of football in it. This is so frustrating. Does anyone put any effort into making kits anymore?

Well, I think it\'s a good design. Maybe it would get in the way for every game, but it would be cool to use in one competition or certain games. I hate Man U., but a bit of history into the game can\'t hurt.

I\'ve just had a though. The neck might become a bit of a problem! due to the fact that many a player will be grabbing them and trying to strangle the urt players (Ronaldo) i know i would. But there is a good point about the neck, Rooney will be able to get his massive head through it as long as he loosens the cords off a bit.

I live in South Africa and the local league is nowhere near the standard of the premiership. it goes without saying that a ticket to a local PSL game usually includes a complimetary mugging. Besides, football (especially the premiership) is becoming an increasingly international game. So sure, Londoners can proudly say that they support their local sides, but how many of Chelsea/Arsenal/Tottenham\'s starting XI are actually born and raised in London? Is it so irrational that people from all over the world choose to support a good team that plays entertaining football?

3 things...

1) Given the retro string tied collar, where are they going to put the new FIFA bage?

2) Some memory all you \"fans\" have. Utd sported retro string tied collars as recently as the late 1990s. They worked then - they\'ll work now.

3) The idiot witht the Saudi comment might be racist scum, but sadly he does have an important point. When Arsenal changed their sponsors to Emirates, they lost sales in the US - many people there do not wish to wear clothes promoting any Muslim/ Arab organization.

Oh and point #4. There are more than 4 clubs in the UK people. Unless you are from Salford, Kensington, Islington or Liverpool - you really should look elsewhere.

First of all, this one (and the matching red one) are clearly fakes, because United will still be sponsored by AIG next season.

My boss said that while both the home and away kits will indeed have the controversial retro \"V,\" it will be in black on the home kit, while the away kits will not be white at all, but black. Also, the home kits won\'t have a retro collar, but a simple black-piped round neck.
