New 09/10 kits for Feyenoord

E-mail

Puma is willing to listen to the sea of complaints about the new 09/10 Feyenoord shirts. The German kit manufacturer said it will be making adjustments to the design, after a storm of protest.

On numerous websites and through many angry e-mails to Puma and the Rotterdam club itself , the new design was overloaded with criticism.

Main complaint is that the puma shirts are not looking like classic Feyenoord shirts, with the two futuristic stripes around the shoulders. The collar is an "ugly shame`" according to many fans.

'' We are looking at all the reactions and comments,'' says Puma. , "We will try to follow up with a good classic design so that the shirts for next 09-10 season are good and decent.''

Boohoo, it\'s a great, slightly modern take on a classic design. But yeah, let\'s have another bland, red and white shirt w/o any sort of other features.

The Red/White looks good to me it is a really refreshing take on a classic \'halves\' shirt. I think the problem with the Black/Green is that the White triming looks totally out of place and makes what could potentially be a very smart shirt look a bit un-finished.

so, if puma are going to make a new design for feyenoord, this shirt will be one of the rarest football jersey ever made... hmm.. quite collectible items.. yehaaa....

Allright! That\'s what I was waiting for.
This are my tips for the new design.
Home:
-REMOVE V-SHAPE!
-Fortis needs a white outline.
-Change the collar.
-Place something like \'Sterker door Strijd\' on the collar.
-Change the arm ends to just the red and white trimming we used to have.

Away:
-Keep the colors, they\'re a great idea.
-Further change all of the points I mentioned at the home shirt (except for the white outline around Fortis).

Nice to see that Puma are listening and responding to criticism, unlike Umbro when they brought out the current England away shirt.

just get rid of the two ridiculously unecessary shoulder stripes and fix the collar a little
