You have to take your hat off to the designers, they are an inspiration to us all. How can we possibly even come close to their skill and intelligence. This shirt is incredible - the colours, the sleeves, the collar, the detailed stiching - it is truely amazing

No, wait hang on a minute, will someone please section me under the mental health act?

Sure, that one is even better, but you have to admit that the one they went with is totally bad-ass as well!

This shirt is amazing! I have no other words for it! It\'s beautiful with the traditional red-white stripe on it! Who has actually made this shirt?

Looks like a traning kit. But in case of Ajax is the always home shirt that really matters.

What a surprise!!

But wait....isn\'t that the material that Bayern Munich had for their last years away kit? Guess it is....
Still coming from adidas, I feared worse......much worse
When will they realise that these oversized shorts make players like Suarez look like an OompaLoompa and a Shetland pony gave birth to a soccer player

and for Badabing.....No! Ajax fans would have preferred something like the old LeCoqSportif (light blue version) shirts and not a Spain copy-paste-change-the-colours-a-bit-shirt!

It\'s just a simple, nice looking shirt. I like the details with the diagonal \'stripes\'/stitches. And for the ones who compare it with the shirt of Bayern: it\'s another material, another design. It maybe looks like it, but it is definitely different. AC Milan\'s away-shirt also looked a bit like this. But anyhow, a nice looking shirt.

Its just the adidas \'campeon\' jersey from their teamwear range but in black and red. Looks very smart though.

Yeah, it is the \'Campeon\' generic team shirt. A few years ago Ajax would have commanded a bespoke kit. Their decline seems to have coincided with their split from ABN Amro.

to bad the stripes go to the neck.,and to bad of the useless \"surfing\" stitching.. other then that it could be a lot worse...like badabing idiotic proposal.

hope the classic home shirt is free of all the stripes

0 # 2009-04-29 02:14
Unforuantely, Ajax has already announced that the stripes will be on the home shirt next season as well. Adidas tried it when they first did the Ajax shirts (maybe 10 years ago, after Umbro) and it went away due to fan protest, but it appears it\'s here to stay this time.

They copied from Kappa: the material, the fit and the essence are the same of any Kappa Kombat template....

Jan Verthongen, the second player on the left is incredibly good! He\'s a beast!! javascript:JOSC_emoticon(\"\")
The shirt is ok to me, nothing more. I like plain black shirts and the red contrasts very nice, but maybe Adidas should try to use different templates for all the different teams (or at least the important teams like Ajax, Real, Bayern, Milan,...). Correct me if I\'m wrong but I think Real Madrid will have the same template for there home shirt? This way it is easy to create a new kit each year, just give it the right colours and it\'s fixed (in other words, the Puma-way).

You are right Elan, Real Madrid has the same model for their shirt. So does Liverpool and LA Galaxy. It\'s an exclusive model, only used for important teams.

Great Kit. Everything about it, color and style. Well done Adidas.

What will the home kit look like? It always looks the same! Well, except for the ad placement this year.

Well that\'s funny, because the homeshirt will get stripes as well this year. Most of the fans really aren\'t happy about it. It\'s a disgrace to put stripes on the beautiful white sleeves. But Ajax is doing it because of the money, they got more money if they put stripes on it. It wil be reveiled when the competition is starting again.

Ajax home shirt is one of the most beautifull, legendary and powerfull shirts around in the world.
If you mess with that by puting anoying stripes on the shoulders and arms, you rape the shirt, and the power and esthetics is divided by 10.

Unforuantely the results and the football of Ajax arent so GREAT anymore....
The only thing (next to the great youth talents they sell when there top) they have left is the superbe shirt, if you mess with that youre foolish....

and dont understand your own club

It\'s a miracle that we meet Feyenoord next season in the Dutch Eredivsie.
They had to play Jupiler. Even in a nice kit.
See you next season losers
