Scotland will wear a new away kit when they play against Holland in next month’s World Cup 2010 Qualifier. The last time Scotland used a “special” kit was against Georgia in the crucial Euro Qualifier for EURO 2008 on Wednesday 17th October, where they lost the game with 2-0 using a maroon outfit.
A Spokesman for the Tartan Army , Hamish Husband groaned, “Not another strip! The players and fans can be a superstitious bunch so this might not be the best time to change things. To be honest though I don’t know if Scotland have ever had a lucky strip.”

The the best kit maker either has to go to O\'Neills or Kappa.
Though why they are wearing it in Holland I really don\'t know, it\'s not as if the Dutch wear blue is it?
I wonder if Diadora gets funky and throws out a purple kit!
The colours are to reflect the Earl of Rosebury\'s racing colours used by the national team a few times between 1881 and 1951 (mainly in a hooped style shirt).
It´ll be white, badge on the left and will pretty much look alike the current home shirt-the other way around.
Nothing special about it-bi boring if you ask me.
