These are the new Northampton Town kits made by Errea for 2009/2010.

The new shirts, modelled by Ryan Gilligan and Andy Holt are manufactured by Errea, who will become the club's new official kit partner this summer, and sponsored by Jackson Grundy.

These designs were voted for by supporters in the match programme, as explained by the club's Head of Sales and Marketing, Abdul Rashid.

"The home shirt was a clear choice," he said. "The away shirt was slightly different. Option C won that vote, but a number of supporters included comments with their vote that while they liked the look of the blue kit, that they wanted a lighter shade to distinguish the kit from some of our rivals. That has led to the new away shirt, which we hope will prove popular.

Chairman David Cardoza is particularly pleased to have secured the expertise and quality of Errea as the club's new official kit partner.

"The club undertook an exhaustive search of the market to make sure that our new kit partner would provide us and our supporters with kit and merchandise of the highest quality," he said. "We are delighted to enter into this partnership with Errea and we are very much looking forward to working with them over the next few years.

"It is very important to us to have the right kit partner as they help portray the image of the club and I am delighted to welcome Errea on board."

The new shirts will retail at £39.99 for adults and £29.99 for juniors.

Two nice new designs from Errea, the sponsor logo lets down the shirts a bit for me though, could have at least made the back ground colour same as the Northampton shirt, the contrast between the two colours looks shoddy.

Surely the whole point is for the logo to stand out and be seen . Why make it the same colour as the shirt ???

True, but for aesthetic purposes only.

Plus with the big white border around it I don\'t think it would be missed still.

Cobblers:

Errea have supplied Middlesbrough since 1994. Look up their kit history - some very nice ones in there!

It is nice to see a manufacturer actually making an effort to supply clubs outside of the Premiership with well designed, distinctive kit.
I have to agree that the away kit looks very good indeed, but for imagination and innovation it has to be 10/10 for the home.

Like the home shirt, but perhaps they could have done the black bits in a lighter shade of dark red or in gold. that would have looked classy. the design is fantastic, and I love the away, so classy and with a great material.

i just don\'t get it at all. 3 options per shirt and even stevie wonder could have told you that the best was option c for the home and option a for the away. I can\'t understand who would bring themselves to vote for these diabolical shirts. the home shirt looks like a training top. it has black on it?! any ideas why? we dont play in black at home, we have never played in black at home! the away well lets just say is blue. the same colour as peterborough who we all hate. i didnt think the club could lower themselves anymore than they have been doin lately but in creating a home shirt that looks like something primary school kids would design and an away in the colours of the scum they have done this! well done cobblers another **** up!

Gavin, read the description, we made notes about the away kit in the programs asking for it to be a lighter colour to avoid looking like peterborough, i honestly think it looks more like a League 1 GK shirt but still think it looks good! The home will have to grow on me a bit more.

Away kit, very classy. Home kit - dear oh dear, that\'s awful. Errea, they do at least pay attention to each club they make strips for rather than just sticking their colours on a template, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn\'t, and sometimes you land up with a really bad home kit. This is one of those really bad home kits. I just don\'t get this asymmetrical design thing. No-one has looked good in one yet.

the 2nd kit looks nice the light blue color is just great becuase its bright and plain with no hoops nor stripes no anything like that.

and similar to west ham\'s color kit of 2008-09.

the home kit...... well is not bad ... just diffrent ...... but you know you could do more better than that design.

its not because the sponsor no no

The home shirt looks more like a training jersey and a bit overdesigned, away kit isn\'t bad though.

These are new templates actually, I think the home design is class. We had a white version (http://borofutsal.com/images/kit/designD.jpg) and it was very popular, but pink won out in the end! we\'ll certainly go with that design for next season.

I don\'t think that that photo does the home strip any favours.

The away kit is nice, and yes it is titanium.
