Nottingham Forest unveiled the new home kit made by Umbro for the 2009/10 season.

The shirt was worn in this evening's pre-season friendly against Stoke City at The City Ground.

Supporters will be able to get their hands on the shirt when it goes on sale on Friday 7th August at 9am from the Nottingham Forest Club shop, however you can pre order your shirt today through one of two ways:

Due to regulations by the gambling commission, the club are unable to print the sponsor on any child shirt.

Supporters should also note that all shirts in the club shop will be displayed without the logo, however if you would like the logo adding this will be done free of charge at the time of purchase.

At least it looks a bit different to last few forest shirts, they\'ve all looked identical the last few years, and its good that you can choose wether or not to have the sponsor on your shirt.

Im not too happy with this kit..its ok i supose its different from the last 2...but i wanted an england style retro shirt which would be perfect for forest....I hate the new sponsor, capital one would of looked so much better =[

Not a fan of the side stripes i have to admit. Prefer the previous Forest shirts if i\'m honest, but i understand them doing it to show the shirts as being different to the previous seasons....

Why can the kids shirt not have the sponsor on it?
I just bought my 2year old a spurs shirt with Mansion on it - as far as I know they are a gambling company too ???

Been waiting all summer for this and I must say I was a little disappointed when I saw it was just a red version of the new Swansea shirt - I thought we might be getting something special.

That said, I think it looks much better in two-tone red, rather than black / grey / white and the sponsor looks pretty well - the font\'s a bit on the fancy side, but at least it\'s not some massive gaudy logo that isn\'t in keeping with the shirt.

Unfortunately, I believe we\'ve got the same awful goalie shirt as Swansea and a couple of other Umbro teams too, which is disappointing.

Do you really think that Sven will be with you for long? Yes, maybe you\'ll get out of the conference, i mean league 2 :S but i can\'t ever see you going any higher than league 1! The sponsors name can\'t appear on the shirt because of a gambling industry code for socially responsible advertising, It bans gambling ads on childrens shirts. The code applies for all shirt deals signed after Sept 1st 2007, the Spurs deal with Mansion was signed well before then so the code doesn\'t apply, hence you can get a branded Spurs shirt for a 2 year old (you can even get babygrows with Mansion on if you want to!)
