Notts County FC announced that it has signed an agreement with Nike to be the Club's kit supplier after ending their deal with Vandanel last week.
Medoc, the Nottingham-based technology solutions company has also been confirmed as the home shirt sponsor. Medoc sponsored the Notts County FC Centre of Excellence last year, and was shirt sponsor to the Club between 2006 and 2008.
The new Notts County FC 09/10 strip was worn for the first time by the team in their season opener against Bradford City at Meadow Lane yesterday.
The official launch of the kit will be on Friday 21 August, when the replica kits go on sale in the Club Shop and Online.
Commenting on the agreement, Peter Trembling, Executive Chairman of Notts County FC, said: "We are delighted to announce this agreement with a manufacturer of the calibre of Nike. This underlines further our ambitions to develop Notts County and its brand internationally, by signing with a global manufacturer who works with the footballing elite day-to-day."

However I think it\'s ridiculous that the a week before the new season Vandanel had the manufactoring and sponsorship of the Notts County shirt terminated because Notts feel there not a bigger enough company for there team.
What a ****ing joke, they played excellent yesterday against a very good Bradford, but who wouldnt play well when they\'ve signed a ****ing murdering ****er who is a decent Championship player. Notts County are too small for Vandanel this is a team that finished 19th at the very bottom of the football league, and if it wasnt for point deduction\'s would of finished just 6 points from becoming a non league team.
Absolute ****ing joke. There\'s no fair playing field in football. Not at any level.
There was also a great deal of talk about a big name sponsor coming in, but in the end the club reverted back to a local company who were shirt sponsors for the two seasons prior to 08/09.
Having said all that, at least Notts are in traditional black and white stripes and that Medoc stepped up to the plate again to support the only league team in Nottingham :0) And after that five nil mauling of Bradford yesterday who really cares what they play in so long as there will be more performances like that?!
By the way, there is a great deal of speculation that the away kit will be purple. The last time we introduced a purple away shirt we were in the top division in the year prior to the Premier League being formed.
lol at the anger
the guy on the far left looks the spit of him.

Vandanel kits always look really ill-fitting, way too wide, making the players look like they\'re wearing a size too big. The material they use looks really cheap and shiney, and then on top of that they plaster their logo wherever there\'s space.
I\'d take a boring Nike teamwear template any day over a Vandanel shirt that looks like it\'s come from the back of a rail in the Cancer Research shop.
http://blogdoportimonense.blogspot.com/
by the away: portimonense is the biggest club from algarve in portugal.
The template kit can be explained by that they dropped Vandannel weeks before the season starts and there wasnt enough time to design, print and manufacture unique shirts.
History tells us it will be replaced in two seasons time anyway.
Yours, notts county fan
Nice kit - always a classic no matter who makes it...
I wonder if you\'d all be complaining so much if your clubs had a massive cash injection. We\'ve been **** at the bottom of League 2 for a long, long time now, so please excuse us all as we take a moment to revel in the exciting times that we are currently experiencing.
The kit is a little plain and boring, but so are many Nike kits at the moment. They have deals with many lower league clubs, none of whom have a truly unique kit (meaning they are all templates) so why have a censored and moan at Notts? I feel for Vandanel, but I\'m sure they were paid off handsomely.
Now that the takeover has gone through should I abandon my team? No. So don\'t go shouting abuse. I will support them until death.
Lee Hughes may have killed someone but, unless you yourself have that burden weighing upon you, you can\'t sit in any judgement-the press are hawks that encourage and instigate much of the parochial banter that emanates from football fans (usually bitter at their club\'s ineptitude: very few Man U fans complain).
So the strip\'s not unique, who cares? How could any fourth-tier club expect that of Nike? Even Marseille have had \'facsimile\' kits a couple of times and their owner OWNED Adidas. (They have also had some bloody ace ones!). Barcelona\'s strip this season is the same design, save collar, as Hertha\'s. Do you think the cules care? Not one bit, they\'re more bothered by that salmony thing of an away strip.
And how is our Technical Director failed tactically? He plays an Italian game, yes but will have so strong an influence over Charlie? I doubt it.
Bring on the purple, I\'ve still got my Matchwinner shirt from all those years back, although pizzas and Guinness have seen it harder to get into as the years pass. It would also make a logical \'third colour\' as it is in the badge, although I bemoan the loss of the thin yellow stripe (NOT the fanzine!).
A good shirt to see playing against Rushcliffe F***** next year. Come on Notts!
Regarding the strip, I\'ve seen plenty of junior football teams play with the Nike \"Tick\" on their shirt, so it\'s nothing to brag about.
What an epic player for PNE he was................. HAHA
