Oldham Athletic are back in tangerine (and navy) for the 2009/10 season after the new away kit was officially unveiled today.

Kit manufacturers Carbrini have come up with a stonking navy design with tangerine trim, harking back to the popular change strip of 2007/08.

Part of the CBXtek range, a new performance fabric created by Carbrini which is specially designed for the athlete and helps to keep moisture away from the players body.

The kit will be available from the Latics Club Shop from Monday (July 13th) at 9am.

The new shirt will be priced at £39.99 adults and £29.99 juniors. Shorts are available at £17.50 and £14.99 respectively with socks at £7.99 and £6.99.

It will be used as the primary away kit by Dave Penney's men, with the fluo yellow strip still in service as a third jersey if required.

I know what 90% of people are going to write here. And most of the comments will be by males who have never seen a girl naked in real life.

Does my mum count?

But seriously, the kit maker is doing it for exactly that reaction. Blame the kit maker.

I like the kit, but Christ, just what the hell were Carbrini thinking? It looks like some promotional photos put together for The Sun in 1982 or something.

I guess school must be out now and there are lots of silly little boys dribbling over that bird .at best she is average. Will you please get a life its just a bird with a football kit on and a plain one at that...shirt is ok shorts look good but the socks are terrible and don\'t even match. Thank god for Carbrini who have clearly invented an brand new technology in fabric moisture management...oh apart from the one which was invented during the last millenium ! They need to lose those stupid logos too it spoils an ok kit.

It is obvious the kit maker has failed on this project. A kit is only as good as it can stand up to the heat and water that are produced in a locker room, and still maintain its shape on the player. Clearly, Cabrini forgot to include any locker room photos with this player, so we have no idea how it will actually look after the player has taken it off and hit the showers.

This kit is great. The orange and that charcoal-tone navy look great together, the cut on the shorts is stylish, the trim and the cuffs and the socks are all very clean. And yes, I have to mention it, that girl ain\'t bad either.

I was just reading the description:

\"Kit manufacturers Carbrini have come up with a stonking navy design...\"

Stonking? What? Is that even a word?

\"Part of the CBXtek range, a new performance fabric created by Carbrini which is specially designed for the athlete and helps to keep moisture away from the players body\"

Because obviously world-famous Carbrini were the first to come up with this revolutionary technology.

She got a roasting and got told to take her facking feet of the desk at last! As someone pointed out early about the kit, it\'s a bit of a problem when playing someone in a dark shade of blue. Maybe they should of swapped the colour scheme and opted for orange with a purple trim instead, not that it\'s my preference.

And yeah she maybe average but she\'s quite decent for an Oldham lass without chav crap on.

My favourite player of all time would have to be Frankie Bunn. He scored six times for us in a League Cup tie against Scarborough, you know. B)

Home Kit = Blue
Away Kit = Navy Blue

doesnt the football league have any ruling that the change kit has to be a different colour .. Surely Orange and Blue like their 70\'s kit would have made more sense or they just gonna use a 3rd kit to fleece loyal supporters even more
