Paulista Football Club presented the new 09/10 kits after leaving their kit manufacturer Puma, and signing with Topper.

The change resulted in a home design with more traditional thinner stripes, and with the sponsor logo’s of Embratel, Sobam, Passarela and Habib's.

Paulista player Léo said: "The new kits are very nice. When we were sponsored by Topper in 2004 and 2005, our team was very good on the pitch. I hope that this will happen again."

Léo won the Brazilian Cup with Paulista in 2005 and is now back at Paulista.

Paulista has also to presented a centenary commemorative retro shirt, made by Passarela.

Got to love those Brazilian cuties they use to model the new kits. Shame there was no shorts.

More random striped designs from our friends in South America although these are actually a lot better than most. Who on earth are TOPPER. Credit to Paulista for leaving PUMA whose designs are a bit dull.

Topper have made Brazilian and Argentinian kits for a very long time, just you\'re too focused on the recognizable brands which are in your face everyday not in south america,

Also what is this about random striped kits? Black, Red and White are traditional Paulista colors just like the flag of São Paulo state

The players look embarresed by the entire thing, the designs the sponcers(all the wrong colours etc-surely they can just change the colours to go with the kits?).

In the first picture the white shirt actually looks rather good, but the Black/White stripe one is a bit messy.
In the second photo the thin stripes in 3 colours is absolutely bonkers, but I can\'t help liking it

Normally when criticising it is customary to a least have the balls to enter your name and If you knew anything at all about this site you will also notice that I am the most vociferous critic of the big 3 brands and their lack of ideas. I have for many years sung the praises of smaller higher quality brands who offer personalised kit options . For many years I have been very impressed with what clubs like Middlesboro do for their supporters .very innovative and high quality with the latest technology and not some generic shit churned out in a far east sweatshop !

You think that if I put a name I have no balls, if I put a name it still gives me no face, internet is full of this surely you know? Their I put my name now, what happens? Nothing different, why do you have this concern so badly? I enjoy your \'faux-brazilian\' name.

I didn\'t make any criticism, maybe my English came across badly, I was trying to make a point that Europeans neglect almost everything that is not American/European branded. I am trying to think of a large Brazilian/South American brand in any industry that is popular in Europe but all I think of is maybe Brahma beer. Maybe now you see my point?

Same with post below Topper has made many great shirts and very recognizable, over the years they have make kits for all the top teams in Brazil and Argentina like Newells, Racing and Independiente.

Don\'t react bad we all have balls, on our feet even you.

Actually, Topper were responsible for one of the best and most recognizable kits of this or any age - the classic Brazil strip in Spain 82. In fact, I think they continued into the 86 and 90 world cups too.

Well if they are that good I\'d like to see them in europe to compete with the other brands which are mostly rip offs. I agree with our South American friend when he says people are too focussed on these brands and should look elsewhere to more creative brands....I\'m off to find the Topper website and hopefully its full of some of those dodgy looking models !
