Plymouth Argyle have agreed "the most commercially attractive deal in Argyle's history" with the global sportswear giant Adidas, who become exclusive suppliers of all our playing, training and replica kit over an initial four-year period.

The green and white design carries the distinctive logo of our shirt sponsors, Ginsters, as well as a revamped badge.

Pilgrims' chief executive Michael Dunford said: "We are delighted to be teaming up with adidas, a global brand renowned for excellence in every corner of Planet Sport.

"It is a fantastic coup for the club. Our partnership represents the most commercially attractive deal in Argyle's history and I believe it will be a fruitful and mutually rewarding experience for both parties.

"Our fans will also benefit from the high standards of quality and design synonymous with adidas, in terms of replica kit, replica training wear and leisure wear."

The replica kit and adidas-branded merchandise will be rolled out during the summer at the Centre Spot, the Superstore at Home Park, and online through the official club website.

Under the terms of the agreement, adidas will provide Argyle with a new home kit every season and a new away kit every other season, making a total of six kits in four seasons.

Last sesons Puma was smart! This one looks very nice but as JB said is let down by the white sleeve! Are these just Adidas template shirts though?

Ok, ok, fine,

That is a template which is probably going to be used for a lot of teams,
Peterborough and Derby perhaps, Spain are even using it..

but after seeing the new Chelsea kit yesterday, I think Plymouth have avoided a massive bullet of sh**
besides, would a plymouth fan really want a shirt that could make you vomit on site just looking at it?

Thats what Chelsea and Russia will have to deal with next season.

And i don\'t even feel sorry for them.

so the Toon are going to have this template next season in blue most likely. Its just a shirt, not really exited or anything, It looks odd and dated. And I think that the green is lighter than last seasons. Still, could have been worse. I think they should have just looked in the FSC Gallery, some nice greens kits in there.

It\'s ****! I hate the white sleeve and the new badge. The old badge was much better. And the Ginsters sign is too big, I\'m just going to keep wearing the old, better Puma one!

looks like the mls expanded to england... good marketing move, the largest english market that has never seen the top flight, maybe they will enjoy the mls.

lol

I don\'t think this is so bad...

except this is a \'exactly\' template.

I like this design... Am I strange?

(their official ball also changed?)

Nice, yeah it\'s a template but just sometimes, a template kit can be nice. Doubt many (any?) other teams will have this precise green/white Adidas combination. Only issue with the kit is the over the top red Ginsters oval in the centre, that aside it\'s sound.
Might even pick one up, impartial to a bit of Plymouth.

Lived here all my life, never had an Argyle shirt (I\'ve been a gooner since I became interested in football back in the early 90s) .

Not likely to be getting that one. If they had a nice orange away kit, I might be tempted to get that one though. It\'d be cool if they went back to the white and green kits of the mid-90s. They were nicer than the all-green kits since.

Since it\'s not a nike manufactured kit:

It\'s beautiful, the best kit ever made, and the best part is that it doesn\'t look anything to that mls houston dynamo jersey

Apart from the hideous Ginsters logo, it\'s not bad. I would much rather have a kit which wasn\'t just the latest template in green and white but I\'ll probably buy it. I don\'t know why people are saying it looks like an MLS kit, it just looks like a boring adidas template.

Not bad but a missed opportunity imo. I don\'t like the one white sleeve and the shirt would look a lot better all in green with white neck / collar trim using the template / collar shape for the blue Real Madrid, red Hamburg Euro and green St Etienne home. A green and white version of one of these would have been perfect. Shorts and socks look very good tho\'.

Houston Dynamo are the only MLS team to use this template, there will probably be more English teams than American teams wearing it.

Thank F*** exeter dont have to be seen wearing C*** like that all the best for been seen weraing that tosh. the kit sums up the 2nd team in the west country

Please elaborate on your 2nd team in the Westcountry comment. Plymouth Argyle- Championship team, Exeter City- League One team. Anyway who cares if its a template kit, the colours are unique. You wont see any other team wearing that template in those colours unlike the Macclesfield and Peterborough kits that were the exact same template and colour.
