The Nike/Poland kit deal was agreed in november 2008, and back then they stated that the new Polish home kit would be revealed early January 2009.

At the time, Poland was given a Temporary home kit, but now that the World Cup qualifying starts again, Poland received it's new home kit with Nike's latest template, which will be worn in the match against Northern Ireland.

For those who missed it... We organized our own nike/Poland kit design contest on Designfootball.com, with some spectacular entries which you can all see here.

this looks exactly the same as the temporary kit.....nothing really has changed. on the kit, its okay, but nothing really special. they should really have waited until the world cup (Poland should be there) and used one of toni bordallos kits, minus the gold and the ecru trim.

Finally the 1st nike kit for Poland. Well as I expected they used this template similar to Indonesia, Serbia, Belgium, Singapore, etc kits. But I think this kit is better than that puma one, which was far more boring than this. Also it\'s good to see they removed that crest on the right side.

In the main pic, it looks like the players are wearing white t-shirts under their jerseys. Otherwise an all right effort - simple, clean and historically accurate. Still think that football shirts are waaaaaaayyyy over-priced, but that\'s another story......

Not as interesting as a lot of the competition entries but it\'s pretty nice. I like that template.

i quite like it. i dont like the merge all companies are going for with \"less is more\" but nike pulled it off. NIke did a good job. i just wish nike would put a little more effort in making it quality like umbro\'s idea of tayloring the kits

That\'s not really an Umbro idea...that\'s been going on for a long time and it\'s one of the things that is first considered by the wealthier clubs. I seriously don\'t think the new Umbro England kit is that great. It\'s horrible, really. And the whole design process that impresses some people? That\'s pretty standard. Anyone who works in fashion knows that.

As for this kit...it\'s not that great. I\'m a big fan of simplicity...but...eh. Oh well, better than England\'s.

I love the feel of that shirt design. It is likely the best to play in I\'ve ever had. However, I expected a unique design for 2009 since so many teams are already using this template.

What the ****? You pay a good bit of money for a shirt that represents your country, and it looks like this? I could have come up with this idea in a day, and you wouldn\'t even need to pay me as much as these ****ers that spend their time coming up with a half-assed design. Gee, red/white and white/red, that\'s bloody original...Nike is just squeezing out the money from a poor design. They make a shirt and call it \"retro\" when its only laziness. Rubbish. Pure rubbish.

And the Nike/Umbro mind meld begins...the collar is basically the same as Rangers wear on their current Umbro shirt.
Just sheer laziness \"let\'s just rip off ideas from each other,no-one will know\"!

Nike designers are the laziest most useless good for nothing twats on the planet and should be shot. This kit is an insult to all designers of kit including the talented individuals who design on this website. Nike stinks !

Yes, it\'s a template that been done at least a dozen times before. But it\'s a template that works. Simplicity doesn\'t always equate to boring, certainly not in this case.
