Preston North End revealed the new PNE 2009/10 home and away replica strips, manufactured by new kit suppliers Canterbury.

All week the club have shown fans exclusive previews of the new home strip on the club website with this kit available for pre-order from today.

The red away kit will be available for pre-order in the coming months.

The new replica strips feature Canterbury's state of the art manufacturing qualities, incorporating the latest innovative fabric construction techniques.

Fans can see the new kit up close in the Club shop at Deepdale on Saturday. The kit will go on sale from the end of May 2009 and will be worn from the first pre-season game, when the fixtures are scheduled, in July.

I like. Simple kits. Other than the Deportivo kit, Canterbury has produced some simple, attractive kits.

Disappointing..I was expecting a better effort than this in view of the great job they did for portsmouth

Great shirt, and no gold, fantantic improvement on the Portsmouth shirt, that ignored the clubs traditional colours, and looked vile.

The kits are decent enough but Portsmouth wore these particularly kit templates for their home and third kits in the 07/08 season, so when Preston wear them they will be 2 years out of date.

Why are the away kits red, people would by more away kits if they were yellow because the fans sing YELLOW YELLOW even in the red kits.

Nice home though

Fully agree with a post from someone, these kits are now an out of date design.
Perhaps my team,Pompey, had them offered as an away kit but we declined so the template was given to Preston.Shame i\'d expect Canterbury to be original with teams just newly signed to them.

I\'d be interested to find out what Canterbury\'s intentions are with the football market.

If they\'re trying to get a foothold, they are going for some strange teams!

What a great kit, simple, smart, good cut.

It\'d bne great if Spurs could get a kit as good looking as this for 09-10...

I have no trust in Puma though, sadly.

...and that horrific Mansion logo could probably ruin any shirt, ugly as it is. Oh for the Hummel and Holsten days again.

Strange, the shirts are missing the reflective spots that the Portsmouth kits have.

No hooped socks on the home kit like thousands of PNE fans asked for the return of and whats with all the lines on the back and sides?

As for the away kit. Its red. North End DON\'T play in red. I\'ll give in four weeks into the 2010/11 season before a yellow kit appears.

Had North End brought out a shirt that resembled either of the last two Spurs home shirts i\'d have been very happy.
