PSV plays the next two seasons in a new black Nike away shirt with red shorts and black socks. The new away shirt includes the red and white checkered regional colours in a vertical way.

Sponsor Nike, PSV and a delegation of supporters of various groups came together to discuss the design of this new 09/11 away shirt.

The new 09/11 kit will be available from July 4 in the PSV store.

Philips\' Sport Vereniging. It\'s not that hard to use Google and Wikipedia, is it?

Nothing to do with this story but I have just heard that Canterbury UK are in serious financial trouble and are unable to supply many of their kits this season . Apparently £40 million in debt...I wonder who will be supplying Portsmouth this season????

PSV has black shorts for home kit, so maybe they will play with black short in away too... IMHO the red shorts look strange with black shirt.

Ajax has got also a black away shirt and when then played against Sparta they also had a red short. Both, Ajax and PSV, kits look like the normal home kit of Excelsior Rotterdam. Pretty ugly...

\"Ajax has got also a black away shirt and when then played against Sparta they also had a red short.\"

Sparta\'s home kit includes black shorts, so ajax wore red ones for that match. they will normally wear black shorts.

I agree with the people who said that the shirt looks great, but it would look much better with black shorts. Btw, the red-white checkers pattern is based on the flag of Brabant, PSV\'s home province, in case anyone was wondering.

The red-white chequered strip on the shirt refers to the flag of their province Noord-Brabant.

I like it

Dog turd. The comparison with Croatia away kit is unavoidable.

Why oh why, Nike?

Nice kit, but I think it will be ugly on the pitch because of the red shorts.. Why red? Why not white or something??

Looks odd enough that it looks good. I imagine it will look decent on the pitch as well.

Well, the shirt is so great..brilliant...i think its coming to my colection hehehe...

but the kit is just \'ok\', the combination with the red shorts...I think if the shorts are black, the kit will be awesome...the \'croacia\' detail on the shirt will be more strong and the kit will be unique...

I must say it\'s not an ugly shirt, looks like more clubs are starting to use the colors of their region for ther away kit.

Even white shorts as the first choice would have looked better, and then mix and match with the home shirt for the all-black effect.

Just black-red-black looks a bit weird (I\'m sure Excelsior fans would disagree though).

obviously NIke wants to expand its business on Europe\'s largest market- Croatia and BIH, so this is the way how they want to get more Croat buyers, LOL
they lost race for sponsoring Europe\'s greatest and most Catholic club with most fanatic fans- Dinamo Zagreb, to Diadora, so this is their final charge to regain old Nike glory

I actually like the kit, it might look similar to the WC 2006 of USA and Croatia but the idea is just the same ( and the material as Nike really didn\'t change it since then  ).
I might consider buying one as long as I would find it cheaper at the end of the season.

The people that say the thing about Croatia, this pattern is also from the flag of Brabant.
