We showed you a leaked picture of the Real madrid 09/10 home shirt months ago, but here is a new picture of the new 09/10 home and away shirts made by Adidas.

The new 2009-2010 Real Madrid kits will be officially launched in June and will be available in The FSC shop.

LA Galaxy used to wear yellow home shirts. Reportedly, it was a certain signee from Madrid who influenced the change to white.

Almost umbro like in the lack of effort - kind of boring an bland to me. Dont like the new adidas collar(or lack of it) on this design - at least the away kit has a polo. And tilt your monitors, is the away shirt black or a deep Navy Blue?

I think they look pretty nice to be honest! I really like last season\'s kits and feel Adidas make the nicest strips! Although I think it is a shame that all the major manufacturers seem to use basis templates for all....lazy!

The home - I would rather the yellow piping was purple!

Away - is that black or navy??

Would be better if this shirt actually came in a long sleeve for next season. Adidas haven\'t manufactured any long sleeve since the 06/07 season.Shame.

Total boredom.

Adidas still insists on the black stripes. Did RM make black an official 2nd color?

And the Ultra Sur must be pissed because yet again they will look out of place at the Bernabeu with all their purple banners and stuff... they didn\'t get the memo that RM does not have purple as an official color anymore. (the shield\'s stripe was changed to blue by adidas a few years back)

i disagree... just two years back, madrid had a home kit without the black stripes. see the link. i own this shirt, and let me tell you... it\'s definitely not blue. it\'s definitely a bit purple. real have rotated the color combinations (both home and away) quite a bit over the last 15 years.

Nati: the exception to the rule.

Since adidas took RM in 97-98, only three kits had purple: 3rd Centenary, one 3rd in the mid 2000s, and the retro one (1981-86 redux) you point to... out of like 30 kits released in that time span.

Navy blue first then black (beside the obvious white) have dominated adidas RM kits since they retook them in 1998. There was also a sky blue one... a dark bluish gray one... the horrible one in silver and sky...

The 3rd Centenary one will really show you that the shield stripe is blue. There is a big difference noticeable.

Purple is NOT a RM accent color anymore, at least officially. The uniforms have overall shown that. One retro shirt doesn\'t change that...
