Ross County unveiled the new 09/10 Home kit made by Adidas. Modelled by new signing Paul Di Giacomo, the design that manager Derek Adams and the boys have gone for is in the Adidas Tiro range.
It's predominantly navy, with 2 white predator like slashes down the right side and a white left sleeve. The classy strip is finished off with red numbers, bringing a return to the true County colours of navy, white and red for season 09/10.
The new kit will be available from 25th July, when it will be launched in the Club Shop at 1pm. Prices have been set as follows:
Shirt (short sleeve) - Adult £38, Youth £28
Shirt (long sleeve) - Adult £40, Youth £30
Shorts - Adult £12, Youth £10
Socks - Adult £8, Youth £6

How can they justify those prices though? They are in the lower division
Take it that\'s a joke? They are in the Scottish First Division
I\'m sorry but this template and the amateurish crest make them look like an MLS or K league side, rather than a Scottish team.
It\'s not awful, just looks out of place.
So bl**dy what! who gives a monkey\'s if it\'s similar design to other teams? What do you expect, Adidas - probably the biggest kit manufacturer in the world - to design individual kits for EVERY team? Since when have they ever done that? Have you never seen footage of football in the 70\'s or 80\'s - every other team had the same kit, three stripes down the arm, one or two different collar designs, that was it. And you know what? NOBODY CARED.
Just rate the kit on it\'s merits FCS. It\'s a nice, clean design in a distinctive shade of blue (with great colour scheme on the numbers if the one on the shorts is anything to go by). I\'d be well happy with it if I supported them.
I wouldn\'t expect every team to get a bespoke design for their kit, but it is possible to get great looking kits for all sorts of teams (see Oxford Utds 09/10 Home or Dumbarton\'s 3rd kit) that are interesting and smart.
Ideally, a kit should be instantly recognisable and individual to fans of that club & others.
This particular template isn\'t the best, with too much fussy detail (silly white sleeve) and an odd looking collar IMHO.
You\'re right though, it is a nice shade of blue.
I understand what you\'re saying, but I think what gets people angry is not that Adidas re-use the same template over and over and over and over again, it\'s more that Adidas think it\'s acceptable to charge about forty quid for it, when only the very miminum of thought has gone into designing it, and making it probably cost less than two quid.
how many people have said it looks like something a team in the MLS would wear who cares. Is it because you secretly like it and you can\'t think of anything bad to say about it so you just say what other people have said about it. Oh and congrats to Ross County on signing Paul Di Giacomo what a guy!
