pretty smart but I wish adidas and nike ect would stop using templates and make unique shirts for each club

i agree that home shirts should be unique, however away/3rd kits are ok using templates

I also agree the bigger the club the more they should push for a unique design and not put up with templates its an insult to fans. This looks a bit Star Trek to me. The design doesn\'t work for this colour scheme it just looks odd

I like this shirt and as much as i agree on the templates debate, think of how many teams they cater for. To make an individual kit for each team would take ages in the design room... how many teams do you think addidas alone make kits for accross the world? 50-100 at least. So thats alot of \'individual\' ideas and designs they gotta come up with.
If it\'s a good solid template and they add a little \'unique\' touch then i dont see the problem

I understand what you say and agree that a solid template with a unique touch but thats just the point. They don\'t add the unique touch and as for how many kits do they make for teams around the world ....well its 2 kits in various colours.

Yeah i understand they only have 2 or 3 templates (that i\'ve seen so far) but what i\'m sayin is imagine they had to design 50-100 different kits each season, thats alot to ask for. I agree that maybe they should do it just for the \'Big\' clubs but then the not so \'big\' clubs will be pissed off so you\'ll never keep everyone happy.

The should make unique styles for the big teams. Real, Milan, Chelsea, Liverpool, Bayern, Ajax

Mind you sayin that, you\'d think what with Adidas being a German firm that they\'d do something special for their home teams surely.

That template looks a lot better without the big square on the left arm

Their are only so many things you can do with a shirt to make it unique, if they make a unique shirt for every team, the shirts would just start to look ridiculous with people trying to add original touches adding tassles and crap like that.

This template is rather boring. Of course it may look different on the field.

way better than the 3rd kit they have now, its cool that the shirt is black. i like black 3rd kits, i have too see it on a player to look how the design fits. but it seems okay.

well this is basically just a black shirt with three white stripes on the sleeve - this alone is about as boring as it gets. now add a weird blue line that starts at the collar and runs down the shirt on one side and now you have a ****ty jersey. but personally i\'m glad to see a ****ty team wear a ****ty kit.

There\'s certain changes you can make to any shirt, even if it is based on a shared template.

Here we see the absence of the left sleeve & underarm being a different colour to the main body. I think this is also the first time we\'ve seen the thin piping adjacent to the stripe coming from the neck. In my view, this is the best application of the template we\'ve seen yet, due in part to the colours employed.

I also like the embossing. There was a time when all Adidas shirts used some kind of jacquard like this.
