Shakhtar Donetsk launched their new 09/10 kits made by Nike.

It was the first event to be held at the Donbass Arena - in the new conference room in the presence of the media, and after that - at the football field.

General Director of FC Shakhtar, Sergey Palkin: “If we analyze the previous season, we saw a very effective and productive collaboration with Nike. Confirmation of the fact - our team has become the holder of the UEFA Cup in 2009. And the technical sponsor supported us throughout the season, as demonstrated by the quality of the services that they give us, and in terms of the vision of the processes throughout the season.”

“I want to say that on 28 August we will be witnessing a very interesting game between Shakhtar and Barcelona. I do not know who will be the winner, but clearly the winner will become the company Nike. Why? Because it is the technical sponsor of both clubs. This suggests that the best clubs in Europe have chosen a better technical sponsor.”

A kit befitting the last ever UEFA Cup champion. Class tops, hopefully it will be easier to buy them this year. A team I definitely rate as an up and comer. Look out Barca! Their new stadium is absolute mustard also!

Although I disagree with the use of the phrase up and mustard I agree with everything else you had to say. :silly:

I doubt it will be easier to purchase these. I obviously don\'t know if you\'ve looked into purchasing from their official shop, but they charge $80+ just to ship to the United States. A friend of mine has family in nearby Belarus and the post office there doesn\'t charge more $30 for even heavier materials sent to the United States. I have not seen Shakhtar gear outside of what\'s available on their online shop, so I\'m pretty much screwed there. I\'ll have to make some gear.

That\'s what happens when you transfix yourself on one or two leagues, everything else you see becomes -esque something else.

I like how the white square in the sponsor is semi-transparent instead of being jarringly white.

Sleek design and the look once again shows the benefit of a simple unfussy collarless neckline with stripes. Black and orange are striking colours for a football shirt and Nike has done a good job here, as well as with the white away one, tho\' I thought last season\'s Adidas shirts were pretty decent too.

Great new kits for this team of the future. I\'m glad they went back to stripes!

Crap! Don\'t like the stripes, should of stuck to plain orange. Nike lack any imagination. Quite like the opening shot of the players unveiling the kit, they look so happy and enthusiastic to be there!!!

The keepers kit is wrank like Arsneals. Why on earth have the made the torso marginally lighter than the rest of the kit? Looks cheap.

Horrible shade of orange but the Away kit is nice

Another classy, clean design from Nike. Everything a football kit should be.

But what\'s with all the lazy comparisons to Hull? For one, this is orange and black not amber and black and two, what Nike had a sneaky look at Hull\'s and decided to copy it? Idiots.

There are strong rumours that now the takeover of Notts County by Munto Finance has been finalised the deal with Vandanel has been bought out and Nike are to supply the kits for 09/10. Not a big fan of Nike, but if the new Notts kits looked like this then I\'m sure there wouldn\'t be too many complaints from fans.

I know all about Ukrainian postage for Shaktar kits! Had to get a second mortgage on my house for the 07-08 Adidas shirt. As for comparisons to Hull ... Are you having. Laugh? Minnows compared to Shaktar.

great home kit, the Orange and black stripes are beautiful ,and the new badge is superb

And comparing the home to hulls kit is stupid. Its like saying \"the new inter kit is good, but its too much like Chornomorets Odesa\" or \"The new palmeiras kit is good, but it looks too much like Karpaty Lvov\"
