Looks more like a dodgy Southend kit from the mid 80\'s.

absolutely fantastic, the embossing around the perfectly embroidered cluib crest is beautiful and the colours are unbeatable.

still prefer the admiral yellow and blue kit from the 75 cup final but this one is thet best saints away in a very long time.

I actually like it, but agree it has a massive Wimbledon look about it. The extra badge detail is one of umbro\'s better ideas this year, hope the Ger\'s get a white and red version with the massive badge detail (or even an orange and blue!!! )

but i must say its kinda growing on me, its actually quite nice, although it would be better if the socks and shorts were navy

I like the kit but i think the embossing thing that umbro are doing looks crap.

Also it bugs me when people put things like \'Not bad for a league One shirt \', its as though you have no right to a good kit if you\'re outside the premiership. But i imagine most of the people who say it are armchair premiership \'fans\'

Truly awful. MIght have been better the other way around, or if it was blue shorts. Or if the yellow on the shirt was less deep (ala Wimbledon 88). Possibly the worst umbro kit this decade?

Also. What\'s up with the umbro logo? I thought they were reverting to the more traditional logo. Which they only seem to have done on Man C\'s and Englands retro kits???

It looks really good, yellow shorts are unique but blue would have fit better.

I agree that this would have made a brilliant Wimbledon shirt in the day.

WTF!!!!
LLOYD JAMES AND PAUL WOTTON ARE THEY THE 2 PRETTIEST PLAYERS LEFT AT THE CLUB?
BOTH COULD DO WITH CRACKING A WEE SMILE ONE THINKS.

THE KIT IS NO MORE THAN A STANDARD UMBRO TEMPLATE FROM THIS SEASONS TRAINING KIT, AS FOR THE EMBOSSED FINISH ON THE BADGE IT MAKES IT LOOK LIKE SOME CHAV SPORTS WEAR FROM JD SPORTS.

VERY POOR
VERY DISSAPOINTED

Agreed the embossed look is very good. The shirt is \'different\' but I have serious doubts about yellow shorts / socks.

Is there a slight difference in the yellow panels on the two shirts?.
The short sleeve version seems to have a distinct V inset whereas the long sleeve looks to be reasonably straight. Is it my eyes or the way the guy in the short sleeve shirt is standing

The shirt colours are ok, with definite shades of Wimbledon and at least Southampton didn\'t go the \"full banana\" like Newcastle.

Embossing looks horrid through - the kind of thing a pikey brand like Joe Bloggs would come up with if they made football kits.

I like the shirt and the detail behind the badge makes it nice, as for people saying that the shorts should be blue that doesnt really bother me as if i was going to buy it i would only get the shirt anyway. I didnt like it at first but now it is growing on me, as for the comments suggesting its nearly as bad as Newcastle\'s banana strip, could anything get worse?
Its very smiliar in design to our training gear.
