nice kit, simple and nothing flashy. The club crest looks droopy and should be a little up.

It\'s a bit too \"busy\" if you know what I mean. Too much going on.

And thats why so many people hate the Home England kit? :silly:

I actually REALLY like the home and a massive improvement on last years kit imo, the gold looks great on it.

the gold thing on strips has been done too often by too many teams. what has the colour gold got to do with st mirren. already dated in my opinion

St. Mirren has had some nice kits over the past few seasons. Out of all the famous black-n-white stripped clubs, such as Newcastle, Juventus, Siena, among others, St. Mirren and Hummel seem to work well together.

The back of the shorts look like they\'ve been slashed across the arse.

Which is kinda appropriate for a night out in Paisley because that\'s exactly what you\'d have to worry about.

Gold trims are becoming very boring.

The strip is very fussy. I have never been keen on the Hummel chevrons as they just make the kits over complicated. Using gold as part of the design process is only adding to the madness as this type of styling went out of date long ago.

Designing a nice classy traditional strip shouldn\'t be that hard.

First...

1. Check out the clubs shirt history (The historicalkits site is a great place to start).

2. Find that one definitive signature kit (If unsure ask the die-hard fans or if they have one the club historian).

3. Use that kit as the basis for your design but add a subtle modern twist.

And there you should have the perfect traditional home kit. As for the away design you can be a little more adventurous.

In my opinion when designing any new club kits \'the Home should be left alone\' but \'the Away is allowed to stray\'.

Its ok but the Chevron thing is far to dated now...think denmark in the 80\'s . Overall however it looks ok

 That\'s like saying the three stripes on Adidas kits is dated.

The chevron pattern is Hummel\'s trademark.
