Standard Liege 09/10 Diadora kits

Standard Liège unveiled their new 09/10 football kits made by Diadora.

The team is known as "Les Rouches" (i.e. "Les Rouges", "The Reds" pronounced with a Walloon accent) for the colour of their home shirts.

I can\'t stand this new wave of posting big logos on the shoulders..
(Kappa, Reebok and now Diadora)

Furthermore the shirts are really messy.

But I like the Belgian flag under their brand new star..I guess it\'s like our \'\'Scudetto\'\'

The Belgium flag and star is about the only positive thing about these kits which otgherwise are

very unimaginative. How come the flag/star combination is missing off the third kit?

Maybe she\'s just wearing a bra, like all normal women...

I like the shirt. The flag would have been nicer if it was not in a simple box but in a circle or something. If you understand what I mean? :cheer:
Standard is qoing to win the title yet again and they will kick some ass in the Champions League! Europe, watch out for Defour, Witsel, Mbokani, Dalmat and Jovanovic, cause they will be astonishing!

By the way Defour and Witsel are in the belgian national team,with Eden Hazard(Lille OSC) and Kevin Mirallas(AS Saint-Etienne).Good generation in their clubs but inexperienced with their national team.

I know a bit the serb Jovanovic,too because one or two years ago PSG were interested in him

I\'ve seen these before in the Tour De France why are they on a football shirt website.??? Shorts are very random....and whats with all the stupid large logos, they just don\'t work. Still at least its better than a generic parks kits flogged by Nike or Adidas.

Nice kits I must say. Interesting (different) design, too. On the shoulder logos comment, I am not so against them as Adidas has always had its three stripes all over their products. However, I think Diadora is stealing a page from their fellow countrymen, Kappa, with it.

never liked diadora that much and this kit proofs my point: they are trying too much and too hard - they always want to come up with new and innovative designes and most of the time they fail.

I like them. Original design which can\'t be confused with any other team. Sponsor\'s logos blend in nicely imo and a nice touch with the Belgian flag motif. I\'d get one.

The witty banter and repartee on this site goes from strength to strength.
