Is it me or did a lot of clubs have yellow away kits this year.it looks really nice with oxford ,but they all seem to be luminous or all yellow which doesnt work to well.some clubs pull it off but sometimes (like wigans away kit this year)they look awful so its good to see clubs going back to there \"traditional away kits\"

Like it, classy collar, nice colour, a huge improvement over the yellow kit, still would prefer the old SCFC badge

I really dislike all of the LCS shirt\'s this season, (Everton, Wolves & Carlisle) however this one is really nice. Looks really classy, and doesnt look cheap, the collar\'s quite nice and the material look good.

poor quality shirt to be honest and im not just saying that out of hatred towards anything to do with joke on trent.
the collar is already doing that annoying curling up thing that you get on cheap shirts as well as that shiny screen printed sponsor doesn\'t exactly give it the high class look but lets just say it suits stoke then. at least those football socks will be worn because them and a pair of tracksuit trousers is the fashion around stoke isn\'t it haha. sorry hatred coming out again... overall though, proper s h i t !

It\'s not that bad, but it does look a lot like a polo, you would be more expecting to see Tony Pulis wear it in the dugout* than anyone on the pitch.

Some people have beaten me to it, and I\'ll have to repeat what they\'ve said in that it does look like a manager\'s polo shirt. That said, it doesn\'t look bad, and at least the collar is not a silly concoction like too many of this brand\'s. Should I have said conCOQtion?

I don\'t like the manufacturer\'s logo above the Prem badge on the sleeve. They\'ve coqqued it up.

Apologies. Jimbo hasn\'t been near his big jar of bad puns since his Palermo Bet Shop boys outburst.

Now I hate Stoke with every bone in my body for the way they set out to play for large parts of this season, the fact that their fans whole-hartedly buy into this showing no sign of remorse for the fact that they are about to survive in the Premier League at the expense of footballing teams like West Brom and Middlesborough, and their ridiculous manager who along with Phil Brown has this season taken the post match interview to whole new low, cherning out cliché after cliché after platitude after platitude only stopping to inapropriately have a go at the referee and moan that small clubs don\'t get decisions.

So I may be biased, but this kit is just boring and sluggish and unimaginative (all black?) and painful to look at., and by the way since when has Ryan Shawcross, in dirty white, red and yellow Predators been model material?
Reply | Reply with quote | Quote

0 # 2009-05-09 11:54
Why should any Stoke fan show any remorse ?
What would you prefer? sackcloth and ashes?

The kit is not bad at all.
Oh and Ryan Shawcross is a footballer not a model :0

whos to say there is a correct way to play football? there is more than one way to skin a cat as they say. Stoke have been outstanding this season and fully deserve to stay in the premiership for the way the players have performed and the outstanding support the fans have shown.

we could of played a passing style of football and knocked it around at the back for 5 minutes and end up loosing most games 3 or 4 nil like the proper football teams like west brazil and middlesbrough and end up getting relegated like west brazil or middlesborough or we could play to our strengths and only loose four games at home all season and takes points of teams like arsenal liverpool aston villa tottenham...oh and the so called proper footballing teams like west brazil and middlesborough.

this is a good expertly shown of by one of the best young english centre backs in the premier league!

I really like the design, black is very imposing and the proper collar looks good and will be comfier too. I\'m a little concerned that it\'s a bit cheaply made though, the sponsor panel particularly looks a bit poor.

Tom, you are a d***, why should we show any remorse when teams have spent a lot more money than Stoke, have been able to attract better individuals than ourselves and have still gone down. West Brom string 3 passes together in the middle of the park and thats considered good football is it? I know who I\'d rather watch and if anything Tony Pulis has been a credit to the premier league in that he always shows respect to the opposition, never once lambasted a referee and has remained grounded all season unlike Phil Brown who believes they have the right to win every game after his comments after the Villa game, tslked himself up as future England manager and that Hull would get into Europe this season. Nothing against Hull City but if Hull were to go down it couldn\'t happen to a nicer person after the way he treated his players at Man City at half time.

Calm down \'Brucey Skin\', clearly we have differing perceptions of the game, but I don\'t see how that makes me a d***.

I don\'t care how much money teams have got or what kind kind of players they are able to attract, I care about what managers do with what they have available to them and whether or not they love the beautiful game that I do!

I agree with you on Phil Brown whole heartedly, my problem with Tony Pulis does not concern his conduct, more just his personality and approach to football which, as a matter of personal opinion, I find abhorant!

People like him and teams like Stoke are sucking all the beauty out of the English game and turing it into a dry, monotonous \'physical\' practice full of stupid, empty platitudes.

Stoke do play football, and they can play football, but they can also get stuck in. against the toon, they played some good stuff. And before you say "everybody plays good stuff against the Toon", they are not a bad footballing side. yes they can play direct and physical, but they do have some good players who can pass it around.

And Tony Pulis has done well with what he has got, and are going to spend another year in Englands top flight. And I dont think Stoke are sucking all the beauty out of the English game. The atmosphere at the their place is fantastic, and I think thats one of the reasons for all the sniping at Stoke when a lot of grouds have a really sanitized atmosphere, with no noise and lack of passion. Plain Jelousy over the atmosphere there.

as for the shirt, this is good, and I think after some horrid kits for Man City and Stoke, the sporting censored looks back on better form with this and the wolves kits, Everton needs time I think, but I think all those knocking LCS might be suprised by the home kit. Personally, something inspired by the kits from the Stanley Matthews era or the Seventies would be cool

one thing though, the sponsor being Ironed on does make it look a bit cheap. one colour for the sponsor would have been better

Amazing on a website about football kits the internet tools are out in force

Absolutely pathetic some of the comments on here

Tom- everything you\'ve said makes you a d*** - end ogf. Probably because you are.

Since when has football been a non contact sport? Stoke aren\'t pansies that fall over the pitch when tackled but if you prefer watching overpaid girls instead of actual men playing the game then so be it.

Great kit. Looking forward to us sticking it to the Prem again next season wearing that.

**** kit for a **** club.

\'\'Stokies\'\' (or whatever the illeterate fools call themselves)are so thick it dosnt really matter what rubbish LCS throw at them as they will buy it reagrdless!

Im sorry but the sooner Stoke get relegated to BACK WERE THEY BELONG the better, they play **** football and have the most irratating fans in the country, i mean what club adopts a Tom Jones classic and sings it week in week out with passion?! That in its self is pathetic. The lyrics to your \'\'anthem\'\' dont even make sense, \'\' I floped my **** in her hand\'\' what the fook is all that about!!

They have battled there way to safety this year (only just!) but next year they will get found out and will go down.

Enjoy it while it lasts \'\'Stokies\'\' as you will be back in the football league soon were you and every one else knows you belong.

Brucey skin be quite will you? I cannot be assed to check every single spelling, you clearly have nothing to say in defence of Stoke so you pick up on my spelling mistakes...

Shoudnt you be up the job centre tommorow? Or at the post office signing on?

Like i said enjoy it while it lasts, you will be down next season. Fair enough this year you suprised a lot of temas with your disgusting foul play and your hoof ball tatics. That will only get you so far in the premier league.

Keep singing Delilah it sounds so pathetic, are you sure your not all Welsh sheep shagging tom jones lovers in disguise?!

What an idiotic person you are. No importance? \"2nd oldest club in the world? Founder member of the football league? Stanley Mathews? In Pele himself\'s opinion the best footballer of all time?

As for the bloke who said we dont belong in the top-flight, check your statistics mate. Up until the disaster in the 80\'s when the roof collapsed we were in the top flight for the majority of our history. Proper fans, PROPER ENGLISH FOOTBALL (for the idiots pretending that English football is all about passing and flowing football, that European football you fool), Proper club. Healthy financial position, no debt, good squad, long term plans for the future, I\'d say we were a club that others should look up to? Not complain because we beat such teams as Villa, Arsenal and Spurs, and we stopped Liverpool from scoring a single goal (god forbid!).

As for the Bristol Fan i thought you fans were alright last season, clearly you are just sour hat we beat you to the Automatic spots and you were **** enough to lose to Bull ****ty!
