Tranmere Rovers supporters got the first look at the new home kit for 2009-10 this morning when it was revealed in the Club Shop.

Modelled by striker Craig Curran, the kit is available on pre-order from the Club Shop or from the Club's brand new online store. Delivery is expected by August 1, giving fans plenty of time to buy the kit before the season begins.

The kit celebrates the Club's 125 year anniversary, and features a special version of the Club crest along with the words '125 years' on both the front and the back of the shirt.

It will be on display in the Club Shop over the coming weeks. The shop is open from 9.30am - 5pm on weekdays and 10am - 1pm on Saturdays.

Oh COME ON!!! Is this honestly the best they could come up with to celebrate 125 years?! Vandanel is not doing anything to enhance its reputation for being synonymous with cheap tat.

I am a tranmere fan and i hate the kit. ive been waiting for the kit to come out for a long time. i am not very pleased. to be honest i hate it. 125 years, thats no way to celebrate.

Bring back the retro kits, celebrate tranmeres 125th year with a retro kit the the true colours of tranmere white blue and green. VAN DANEL IS CRAP

Maybe there\'s something wrong at Vandanel? Whenever they try to do a simple kit they screw it up, whereas Nike have no such problems.

the new badge is an absoulte joke. the kits ok. the best thing about it is that superstar craig curran has got it on

He\'s carrying a football from 1884 and wearing a kit from 1993

Like the crest, but the kit looks cheap

Looks good to me. Clean, crisp design, simple neck and collar line with classy looking crest.

Maybe too simple tho\' and I can appreciate Tranmere supporters were perhaps looking for something more special to celebrate 125 years .

This is pretty lame to celebrate 125 years! Just looks like an average 90s kit, nothing special, the tranmere fans must feel let down

What was everyone expecting from this kit ?
Its nice and simple which is what i want from Vandenel...remember 04-05 kit? when they tried something different...didnt work and thats why they should just stick to the basics....thumbs up from me.

I have to admit , its not a bad kit

The reason we are all disapointed is because the club told us it would have a \"125 years\" theme , but theres nothing realy special about it

The boy from Old Swan looks great in this delightful Vandanel production! I absolutely love it! Shame we won\'t see Anthony Kay, Ben Chorley, or Stevey Jennings in this white wonder
