This is the new Urawa Red Diamonds 09/10 Home football shirt made by Nike.

The concept of the kit is “unity” and the idea of team solidarity is reflected in the design. The uniform is a mono colour red, which is the team’s symbol colour.

The name “RED DIAMONDS” is printed inside of the collar, which is certainly visible when hanged on a hanger, so players are able to see the print whenever they put on their shirts to play a match.

Printed on the outer side of the collar is “URAWA”. Such design enhances the solidarity of the team as well as the solidarity between the team and the local community.

The kit design also pays attention to its breathablility and players’ mobility in order to maximize the players’ performance.

The uniform uses a superior sweat-absorbent, quick-drying knit material and mesh panel for the body, back and under arms.

These mesh panels are in the shape of diamonds, which is the team’s symbol. The four diamonds are placed on the uniform in line with the muscle line so that they will not restrict the movement of the players.

More utter bollocks ...team unity , solidarity...is that coz its red like the commies were all those years ago ??? what drivel.Nike are just sooo far up their own arses its beyond belief. Looks like the collar has been stolen from a cheap Vandanel shirt from the Conference. Ugh !

Anyway, I like this one. Very simple and makes them look less like a Manchester United knock off.

to be frank, the colar was taken from Brazil\'s home kit, the previous one, and abit of 06/07 Man Utd\'s keepeer kit.

if this is the template for most Nike kits, then lucky or not, both Nike and Adidas has done poorly, a matter of who did better of the worst.

Basic but strong design, finished with several elements key to the club. Not much wrong with that.

I have just looked up in the Collins English dictionary and found some new verbs.....NIke...as in to Nike ( be completely devoid of ideas). Adidas as in I am Adidas ( Bored) of that. Another interesting word I came across was Puma which literally means to repeat the same thing over and over again ..as in Groundhog Day. Code:

Nope, Feye. You\'re not the only one. I like the jersey too.

Nike stuff generally offends me least, lately. I get nauseous when I look at Adidas designs. The latest crop--Chelski, Milan, Bayern look like trainwrecks....
