The new Wales away kit 2009/2010 is launched on Thursday 26th March and will be available to purchase from your local JJB Sports or online.

JJB Sports signed a six year deal with the FAW back in August and have since launched a home and third kit under the Champion brand and these have been a success with the fans.

As well as replica kits, JJB have made available a training range and leisure collection along with a wide range of FAW accessories.

There is something for every Wales football fan at JJB Sports and the away kit is the latest edition.

Away short sleeve shirts are available in adult sizes s-xxxl and are priced at £20.00 and juniors are available in sizes 6/7-xlb and are priced at £15.00.

I really like this kit, it is simple and stylist with a few nice touches, like the unusual shoulder seam. The green piping on the sleeve probably looked better in the design, or when the shirt is layed flat, but other than that it looks good.

this is really nice, simple and stylish.

I lived in Wales between 2003-2007 for uni and all the locals wore Wales shirts everywhere. Looking at this shirt makes me feel much younger as it appears to be exactly the same as the Kappa ones they were all wearing in 2003!

Great move on the price though, if you\'re going to put out a very similar kit atleast make it cheap!

whats up with champion making kits in england? they\'re an old american brand from new york, and we haven\'t seen them here in the states in over a decade.

As far as I know they are still American. They are still based in NY.

You haven\'t seen them in action in the USA in a while because their NBA contract was bought out by Adidas and because they are ****e.

Don\'t you mean the UK?

Typical American!

No he probably means england. Scottish and Welsh people usually do not like to be considered from the UK or british (of course there are exceptions.)

What a coincidence! Quite a lot of English people don\'t like to be considered British for similar reasons (of course there are exceptions). Sometimes English people also use lower case letters when referring to other nationalities in Britain, such as the scottish and the welsh.

Champion is pretty much JJB\'s own brand. Products are made under license exclusively for JJB. Same as Patrick.

JJB also has an exclusivity agreement with Under Armour to sell the Wales rugger buggers kit.

Regardless, I think the pictured kit is pretty nice, and were I from the wrong side of the Valley, I would sport this with pride.

Yes, well happy with the kits Champion have made for Wales so far. I\'ve got the red one, and not only is it a great looker, it\'s a really great fit - I\'m a skinny geezer, but I couldn\'t wear the Welsh kappa designs because they made even me look a bit tubby. And for 20 notes, it\'s an absolute bargain. JJB aren\'t stupid - they know that knocking it out at 20 notes will result in much higher sales in terms of money taken over the counter than if they put it out at a regular 40 or 50 quid.

The design looks a bit pedestrian but at £20 quid for an adult jersey it\'s a snip.

I know that white away shirts don\'t tend to be that popular with some of our fans though because of white being more synonymous with folk across the border, but I\'ll be buying it anyway. I am a bit baffled as to why the \"away shirt\" is being released now but our \"third shirt\", in the traditional away kit colour scheme, has been out for a few months already. Could argue that an ideal marketing oppportunity also got missed by not releasing the shirt on 1st March, but there you go.

However with the news about JJB\'s finances seemingly going up **** creek and the news that Wigan Athletic are set to change kit supplier, sponsor and stadium name it makes me wonder if six months down the line the big sponsorship deal the FAW had with JJB/Champion will cease, and that we\'ll need a new supplier?

It has happened before when Lotto disappeared from the UK market in 2000 and we turned to Kappa. We\'ll just have to wait and see.

So much better than England\'s. I think the shirt\'s should swap prices. Pretty good deal, if you\'re Welsh.

I thought the yellow kit we got already is the away kit? Least it should be, yellow should always be our away kit, not crappy white. Hate it when we have white away kits!

Agree, sometimes I wonder what half the people across the border learn at school......

Obviously not spelling because he can\'t spell \"shagger\" properly

And our white shirt is 100x better than their overhyped mess which resembles a PE kit!

Agree with the guy above should stick to yellow though we had yellow shirt with green collar years before Brazil did FACT.

I couldnt help but notice the design of our new away shirt is the same style as Wigan Athletic from 2006/2007, but with a Champion logo on it!

They are as bad as Kappa for recycling old designs

good price! Although id rather buy a kit for £100 and see wales win games rather than paying £20 and watching them slump like a bag of sh*t
