West Bromwich Albion have unveiled their new Umbro away kit for the 2009/10 Coca-Cola Championship season.

The new away shirt sees the club return to red, with navy detailing and silver pinstripes on the front and back.

It has a contemporary rounded neckline, a retro-style WBA monogram on the back collar area and will be enhanced by the club's bespoke silver-and-white numbering and lettering, which is exclusive to the Baggies in the Football League this term.

The shirt will be worn with navy shorts featuring silver panels on the sides, and navy socks embellished with silver pinstripe hoops.

The strip incorporates UMBRO's state-of-the-art Climate Control 'Nano' technology, which enhances the movement of moisture away from the body.

The away kit will go on sale in club shops from 9am on Saturday, July 18.

LOL that kit is horrible!

hate the pin stripes

probably just the lighting but in the 2nd pic the colour of red looks a strange shade

cheers FKippe for not putting first comment btw the gays that do that need pimp slapped!

Bit of a let-down, WBA\'s kits are usually pretty good but this one has \"training shirt\" written all over it.

The stripes don\'t really work (not enough contrast IMHO) and the red looks really insipid on the picture of Jonathan Greening.

Why do WBA not have a sponsor? They didn\'t have one last year as I remember.

Beautiful colour scheme but I have to agree that pin stripes are sooo last year ! well actually more like 1984 . They just don\'t work any more...you wouldn\'t re invent the Ford XR3i now would you so leave pin stripes where they belong the 80\'s.

I been quite disaoppointed with Umbro kits this season but they have made both WBA kits superbly.

Sorry to disagree with most posts here - and all entitled to our opinions..

But I have to say WBA have two FANTASTIC kits for the coming season - and I\'m not a WBA fan.

This is brilliant, I love it. The only thing I\'s alter is the collar to match the home one.

To all you Baggies - you lucky blighters. I wish the Hearts kits were as good.

All the best next season.

Their home kit is brilliant - as was widely acknowledged on here - but this away kit is just plain rubbish.

As for Greening\'s tattoos...

This (or a slight variation) will end up as the Rangers 3rd Kit - Which will go on sale round about the time that we need to play Kilmarnock (as the away will be fan-ripping-off white again).

Quite nice though. Reminds me of a cracking Scotland away shirt from the 80\'s.

6 points less for Stoke this season, 6 more from Wolves though, not bad like last seasons - looks better without sponsor

I dig the pinstripes, won\'t be buying this kit, but I think it\'s classy. Although I\'m a Palace supporter, I do like WBA as a club...

Am i the only one thinking, that this kit is one of the best this season?
It\'s nice and simple, and without a sponsor it looks fantastic.
5/5

I\'m not sure what everyone who posted first was on about, but this kit is brilliant. It\'s a new color, not neon yellow like so many other second kits have been the past year or so.

Umbro have all the best kits this year. Fabulous.

It\'s ok but nothing special.Pinstripes would be better in navy blue or even white.
Surprised West Brom haven\'t gone for yellow and green striped away kit.

The shirt really needs more silver on it if it\'s to justify just having silver flashes on the shorts and socks (the pinstripes are too thin to ascertain the colour), although I guess that\'ll be rectified by the silver/white numbers. It\'s just a subtle way to make you shell out for a name and number.

That said, it is a lovely kit and I\'m keeping my fingers crossed for the new Forest kits.

what is the matter with u lot.
none of u have got any taste .
i think that it is a great kit. i think that it is probably the best away kit for years. i will definately be buying both of these kits this year. i think that they both look smart and that th pin stripr seperate the red.
i think that the big blue patch on the home kit looks boring so i think that i will have a a name and number on it to seperate the blue and make it look much britter with the white and silver numbers and letters.
baggie lad fru and fru all me life
albion till i die
boing boing all the way lads, lets get back into the premier league and hope the dingles cum down so we can rip the piss out of them boing boing.

Not bad at all but am I the only one who thinks the lack of a well designed and creatively incorporated sponsor\'s logo actually adds to the look of club shirts. The lack of a logo leaves something missing from this shirt imo

Very nice classy kit, i love the fact that Albion havnt got sponsors looks very very good!

Overall a very nice shirt, if i was an WBA fan i would be very pleased with the two shirts they have been given!

Oh good lord, this kit is horrendous. It\'s even worse than our shirt from 92/93 with the tyre marks all over it. You\'ve got a Tesco bag for your home kit, and god knows what for your away kit.

@Bristol City, you\'re right, it\'s very good that a club that has spent 4 out of the last 6 seasons in the Premier League can\'t attract a sponsor
