West Ham United's brand new Umbro away kit for the 2009/10 season has officially been revealed and availabe in the FSC Shop on pre-order.

The new kit, worn for the first time by Jack Collison and Carlton Cole, uses a striking modern design that also respects the club's traditions by combining the popular dark blue that dates back to the Thames Ironworks with a bold sky blue panel. The state of the art fabric uses Umbro's innovative Climate Control technology to enhance the movement of moisture away from the body.

The new away goalkeeper shirt to be worn by Robert Green has also been unveiled.

Available to pre-order now ahead of the official launch on Thursday 18 June, the new away kit is sure to prove popular this summer. The club stores and the official online Megastore are already reporting a brisk trade with supporters eager to make sure they will get the kit first and fastest.

Really? I quite like this, tho the coloar looks like it has been ripped off and then sowed back on a tad weird

Like the Keeper kit more tho, even if i did think it was just a creased shirt at first

Nah, this looks really good. the sponsor spoils it a bit, but the rest of the kit looks really good, and finally the crest and the diamond are level on the shirt, a detail which makes a hell of a difference. The Irons crest looks good as well, and its nice and big. great detail on the inner collar.

and this is not an old template. the collar might be similar to the shirts from 2000, but the rest of the shirt is a new template, look at the cut of the sleeves and the seem, different from that jersey.

8/10 for the away kit, 7/10 for the goalie

good effort from umbro. it reminds me of blackburn\'s away shirt from last year, but with only one color down the middle.

love the goalkeeping shirt!

Not that great. Don\'t like the collar and agree that they need to get back to the old templates. Boring colours and rubbish sponsor logo... defo will not be buying

Nice kit.

Looks a bit dated to me . Nice colour scheme but the collar cheapens it. GK kit is stunning though.

i think its okay but the older one was better. West ham colours are claret and blue so the away shirt should be claret like it also was 1993 and 2001.
Before 1900 dark blue was a West Ham colour but that was just at the beginning.
It remindes me also on Blackburns last year.
I dont understand why the kits always have to be changed (maybe only to earn money). The last years kits were perfect except from the home-sleeves connection to the claret centre. The sponsor is better than that ugly quad.
Football kits should orient on the historic club-colours and not be like a kind of architecture which leads to uglyness.

Why is it changed, last year it was perfect.

I love these strips. I am not a west ham fan though. I am a Rangers fan, who\'s strip is also made by umbro so I hope it will be the same as this.
