Over the past two weeks Wigan Athletic have been revealing the brand new 09/10 Vandanel home shirt piece by piece.

The reveal is now complete and here it is!

The club have signed the biggest ever sponsorship deal in its history, which will see the JJB logo - which has been on the shirts for nearly 16 seasons!! - replaced with the 188BET logo.

Also before tonight's game, fans will get a spectacular look at the new shirt with the unveiling of a giant shirt.  The shirt will be handed to the East Stand to surf the crowd.

Not TOO bad. At least it\'s better than Champions effort. The 188bet is a wee bit big though.

Portsmouth with white stripes. Vandanel are not a major brand, and won\'t become one unless they innovate, not imitate.

I think that It would be really nice if the Badge was not in the middle and the 118 BET white background did not take out half a stripe! Overall a good kit!

The sponsor thing has already been mentioned already, but other than that its pretty good. If their away kits are something other than fluorescent yellow Wigan will have achieved success.

The material looks cheap, but it\'s not a bad shirt.
Will it have gold numbering?

Oh come on! Give \'em their dues, it\'s a nice, simple kit. The sponsor\'s pretty classily done too. Well played Vandanel.

You are clearly a sheep who has fallen for the marketing spiel of these companies...Nike wouldn\'t touch Wigan you moron.

What are you on about??? The company making the Kit pays a fee to the club, so the club goes to different places and gets the best deal, Nike were making rochdales kit a few seasons ago dont forget!

It is a shocking kit though, the champion one was much better, if this is the one out of the mock ups that was picked, it makes you wonder whether the others were red and carried a bolton logo.

I only have a problem with the sponsor\'s ugliness.

So what if it isn\'t a more reputable manufacturer, the kit still looks very well designed.

Never been a fan of Vandanel....But this is a success...I know they have the sponcer for money and it\'s more important than design yet why couldnt they just put 188 bet in Writing ???

It looks tacky and ruins the shirt.

Simple and average with a non league collar. Vandanel are out of their depth in the Premiership and I \'m sure Mr Whelan will take then to the cleaners over the next few seasons. Vandanel have no design ideas whatsoever.

I thought wigan looked better when they had all blue shirts with white and green trim rather than the striped shirts.

I think Jimbo is right.It\'s very similar to Pompey\'s shirt but with white stripes!
Vandanel should stick to Blue Square Premier clubs.
Fans should get paid for advertising betting companies, especially when the logo is too big for the shirt!!!

That looks really cheap. It\'s shiny like an 90\'s Sunday League kit.

The ending of the JJB association for Wigan has meant that they have to source their own kit maker, and Vandanel seems to be the best they could do! At least JJB had some pulling power to get Umbro making quality (albeit generic template) kits.

Dumbarton had a Vandanel kit until this season and it looked better quality than this.

Vandanel should only be for lower league teams, not for a team like Wigan. Its not as nice as last season at all! Not so impressed.

Why does this team have a new kit supplier EVERY season?

06/07 JJB
07/08 Umbro
08/09 Champion
09/10 Vandanel

WTF?! :0

awful.... deserving on a season in the 2nd tier...... badge in the middle looks good, the shoulders and massive size of the sponsor ruins it though.

up the clarets

Why they always use minor kits??

 Does it actually matter if the kit is made by a crap brand? In my opinion NO! Just so long we actually play well, who gives one what we wear? apart from the glory supporters who have never actually seen their team play! :s
