This is the York City 09/10 blue away shirt made by Nike featuring the Pryers’ company logo.

The Pryers’ company logo will now appear on the front and back of the Minstermen’s home shirt and the new away strip, which will be unveiled and worn in Friday’s pre- season clash with Hartlepool at Bootham Crescent.

The new Nike shirts will be on sale within the next two weeks from the Club Shop and will be priced £40.00 for adults and £33.00 to £35.00 for juniors

York City announced that the Club’s new main sponsor for season 2009 / 2010 is local York firm, Pryers Solicitors.

Pryers company logo will now appear on the front and back of the Minstermen’s home and away shirts and Pryers will also have a host of ground advertising boards around Bootham Crescent.

Pryers Solicitors, who specialise in personal injury and clinical negligence, established a relationship with the Minstermen last season and their company logo appeared on the reverse of the purple shirts the Minstermen wore for their FA Trophy Final appearance at Wembley in May.

Commenting on the new partnership, York City Chairman, Jason McGill said, “We are delighted Pryers Solicitors are York City’s new sponsor and that a local firm has shown the Club such great support in this way. We really look forward to forging a strong partnership with Ian Pryer and his team and hopefully we will all enjoy some good football and success this season.”

Ian Pryer of Pryers Solicitors said, “I am very pleased to build on last season’s sponsorship at Wembley and become the main sponsor this season. I appreciate that economically times are not at their easiest for York businesses but this is a time to step forward and support our local team. I have seen how much work goes on behind the scenes at the Club and hope that this encourages other businesses to come and get involved.”

The home shirt is not bad actually, reminds me of a Genoa-style top. Away top, just a genric away top which so many clubs have the same design for this season. Hardly innovative design wise.

Quite nice, but the white trim on the light blue seems odd

The sky blue away is lovely. The home is not so great, but those are the club colours I suppose.

home top is an old nike template but it definitely looks good. i have one in green and white halves from FC Sachsen Leipzig. I know Mainz used the same template last year for their home shirt in red/white.

still, the home looks very good.

Boring Nike template design ...we can expect to see at least one of these every day until the start of the season. Nike used to stand for innovation and creatvitiy now they just stand for rip off merchant!
