AS Roma 10/11 Kappa Kits

Here are the new A.S. Roma shirts for the 2010/11 Serie A season, produced by Kappa.

Roma narrowly missed out on winning the league last season and had to settle with second position but do see a return to Champions League football. That's not the only thing returning to the Stadio Olimpico but it almost appears the same shirt will be there next season also.

The shirt as per last season has a thick orange collar, although it is now round, and also thick rimmed cuffs on the sleeves. Looking more closely at the seams though you can see it has changed and quite a bit from Kappa's normal design.

The away jersey, in white, is much the same design as the home, although the side panels are now a different colour compared to the rest of the shirt, although the away shirt does contain the clubs alternative logo once again. The away shirt also sees a change in the way the Kappa logos are presented on the sleeves, from a row of four to a large singular one on the shoulders.

The third shirt also has the same different coloured side panelling as the away as well as differing colour shoulders. The design of all the shirts are quite obviously based around the design used for the Italian rugby jerseys, except without the ball grip design of the shirt of course. The other black shirt without the orange shoulders in the pictures is the goalkeeper kit.

nothing agaist, is most your shirts have castles

 1. Paul - curswine

Well then how can a castle make the shirt homosexual?

That is actually not a castle but the Torre del Oro which features on the Santander and Cantabrian coat of arms and symbolizes the power of Santander and the Cantabrian region.

I guess you're also alluding to the Bielefeld shirt which includes the two towers from the Bielefeld Coat of Arms, I thought the bridge effect of the gate would look more original than just a straight horizontal across the chest.

Also please let your feud with MW from Wideopen die, it doesn't reflect the website in a good light to see so much flaming and foul language in the comments section.

 1. lucas555

yes i am also alluding bielefeld

i don't have nothing against mr. mw from wideopen, he insults my works
saying that are horrendous

 1. Paul - curswine

He never insulted your work, he stated that it would be awesome in the 90's which seeing as it was a homage to the 94 Italy kit is more of a compliment because it looks like it is from the age you wanted it to look like it's from. If it was being used in this day and age it would be considered hideous because modern designs are a lot plainer than they were in the mid-90s.

Fantastic design, love the design and the stripes on the shirt, so much flair in this template. Dont think it would suit every team, but it does suit RS

i only wanted to make shirt with stronger personality,
then i read a blog(http://sport2wear.wordpress.com/2009/03/14/tipo-afeganistao/)
sign for bom, vira objeto de desejo como essas da Copa e Hummel.
it said "the big brands can better deal with better affection these disadvantaged national team, because if the design is good, becomes the object of desire such as the Copa and Hummel ones. "

aah but you see MW this template has great flexibility which is why I am so proud of it, it can be symmetrical or asymmetrical, incorporate stripes or anything really, first template I think which manages to be able to contain all these things without looking odd.

I want to make a couple more teams in this template, you got any ideas which teams I can do, that you think will look good?

 1. lucas

yes

one team is japan: it should look like this one:http://img.blogs.yahoo.co.jp/ybi/1/c2/37/aloha801mahalo/folder/824996/img_824996_55341108_0?1225411274<;br />
the other south korea
it should look like this:
http://www.liverpoolkits.com/ebay/southkorea95hp.jpg

I don't understand Lucas.

The first picture doesn't allow for hotlinking, the second is a picture of an old South Korea shirt, I don't follow what you're trying to say.

 1. Guest

i mean that you should save the images an then
for japan you should put horizontal stripes and then made triangles

for korea one sleeve should putred stripes and on the body you should put yellow, red and blue squares

 1. Paul - curswine

Lucas you make absolutely no sense and calling me a racist is the last straw.

Anyway, on the teams, I think Independiente would look good with this template, the home would be perfect for the diablos rojos, really in your face. another I think would be C Nacional De F, but wait a few weeks, I dont want you stealing my thunder:wink:

Looks like it could be another moobs-unfriendly template, like the Chelsea kit from last season...and I'm not keen on the over-zealous Kappa branding either. I respect AS Roma so this isn't some club partisan bashing, I just think these kits are poor, they've had much better in the past. :-?

 1. fsc

wonderful shirts... like the think that the side panels of the away and the 3rd shirts are orange... FORZA ROMA

 1. fsc

the home and away shirts are ok, no so keen on the third one

 1. fsc

Home one looks class...., albeit not a fan of the Kappa logos all the way down the sleeves.

White int bad either although little to clustered for my liking......

 1. fsc

C'mon Roma

nice the kits....but they could be better without that huge logos

 1. fsc

Man, Kappa shirts are really, really ugly!
