Chile 10-11 puma home football shirt

This is the new Chile 10/11 Home football kit made by puma, which will be available here.

The kit, popularly referred to as La Roja, will be worn throughout the rest of 2010 and into 2011 – which, as you will all know, includes the COPA America in July.  Chile last reached the COPA America final in 1987 – Puma is hoping this new flash of red will help them do it again this time around.

"We put a ton of passion into all of our strips.  But for all the boffins out there, this kit has a good dab of science in it as well.  We used 3D Motion Analysis to study all the movements a footballer goes through whilst in action – pretty technical stuff.  Everything we learnt from this has gone into the creation of the strip from the power cutlines on the collar and sleeves, to the emphatic shaping of the chest – this shirt is Chilean in everyway."

The new kit is part of the PUMA PowerCat Collection, which is inspired by ‘raw’ football and a player’s primal instinct of fight versus flight.  Chile is the newest member of the PUMA family to represent the PowerCat Collection and is joining the ranks of PUMA-sponsored football teams Italy, Switzerland and Uruguay who are also outfitted in PowerCat kits.

La Roja will be available in Chile starting November 18th.

Either do the "star collar" or don't. This just looks like a designer who couldn't make up his mind.

And I'm getting increasingly tired of white "accents" on shirts. No, a couple of white stripes down the side does not make the shirt "dynamic" or "modern"!

Quoting Angry Chilean:
Chile just changed an excellent football administration for a really lousy, mafia-like one. This shirt exemplifies what happened in a great way. Won´t buy it.

p.d: Those boxing shorts... no comment.

You re right!! and now Bielsa is gone, and that beautiful jersey too!!

I'm hold the same anti-template position as most of you, but I have to say, this is a vast improvement in quality over the Brooks kit from South Africa

nah, ur wrong. the brooks kit had more class in the SA WC than this. i am alittle curious on the tech behind the power cat collection but still this kit is boring. the brooks kit was alittle richer in colour this one is just bland

I really loved this template in Southafrica 2010, but now it just looks "old", and I don't like the idea of many team having the same uniform only with different colours...

To sum up, I really liked the shirt (the whole uniform actually), but I think chileans should wait for the next one from Puma, because this one is more of the same.

En verdad me encant?

IS NOT MORE OF THE SAME?, Expected much more from PUMA .... CHILE deserves better .... BROOKS WAS BETTER THAN THIS SIMPLE AND STUPID MEANINGLESS WITHOUT DETAILS. SIMPLE THE BEST AND MOST OF 82 ADIDAS

This is way better than Brooks. It looked great live versus Uruguay. It will NOT be the kit they wear for the Copa America. This is just their introduction kit to get the ball rolling. Did I mention it is WAY better than Brooks. I just wish Nike/Umbro hadn't missed the submission deadline when the proposals were made.
