Molde FK 2011 centenary Retro shirt

Today, Molde Fotballklubb reveiled their 100 year anniversary kit made by Umbro. It will not be worn in every game next season but the club has applied for usage in the anniversary match on June 18th. The match kit for the 100th season in Molde is yet to be announced.

The retro kit is based on the oldest existing photographs in the club history from 1914. The club was founded in 1911, under the name International, but the history from the earliest years of the club got lost in a fire before it got digitalized.

Very Very cool. No doubt it'll be ruined by over-sponsorship, like the shorts. The laces are a nice touch but I can see some players omitting those.

that is the nicest kit i have seen for ages. sponsors probably on the shorts because fans will buy the shirt. yeah it looks stupid, but the club will still get the sponsorship whilst keeping the fans happy.

Umbro, but I bet WBA fans would like a slightly darker blue one.

Nice shirt, silly shorts

If Molde is a no-name club, then every Norwegian club but one is a no-name club. This looks awesome but their shirt sponsor will totally clash with the stripes, so hopefully they keep it simple in whatever games they use this shirt.

Bradford City also have a retro shirt with laces at the collar this year. I hadn't seen one of those in a long time.

The look is so perfect - why ruin it with those terrible ads on the shorts??

I think the top looks very much like Rangers in the 60s but i cant stand the positioning of the umbro badge on the front. Its getting higher + higher, before long it will be around the back.
8 out of 10.

LIKE IT! When the next England kit is released it would be good for it to have a collar like this.

I know i bang on about the England shirt but this latest design has really got me hot under the collar.

Still, at the end of the day there are far worse things happening in the world. Maybe I am just a frustrated designer who never made his mark!
