palmeiras 10-11 adidas third kit

Palmeiras revealed the new 10/11 third football kit made by Adidas.

Palmeiras was founded on August 26, 1914, initially as Società Sportiva Palestra Italia, by four Italian men who were members of the Italian community of São Paulo. Its original colours were red, white and green (those of Italy).

I like it. It reminds me the third kit of St-Etienne last year. And for once, the sponsors don't ruin the kit IMO, which is often the case in the brazilian championship (like in french Ligue 1)... :)

However, two things disturb me. First : the pinstripes that turn yellow in the middle of the shirt, don't understand. Second : what the hell are those shorts ?? They want to play basket-ball ? We don't even see the knees of the players...

Very beautiful shirt .....nice colours, very classy

But can't adidas just for once make dissapear the 3 stripes, i know that that's their "signature" but at least pu them on light green over the dark green...

What is the point of this kit, apart from to make money?

Palmeiras wear green as their first choice, so why have a green third kit as well? Pointless, and stupid in equal measure.

Agree with Steff...think it looks like a rugby jumper...Saying that I think it's nice but also pointless in that it's green. Also, do you reckon there's a chance they could get some longer shorts?

Really like the shirt, but are they wearing really long shorts or did they just find the shortest players to model?!

Lovely shirt! Is it just me or does the player on the left in the F50s have tiny feet?

Esporte Clube Bahia, Brazil, 2010 Lotto third new uniform. Inspired in the Spain national team. The lay-out is unprecedented.

Nice shirt, bu t maybe the combination with white shorts would look better. Sponsors in the back are hideous...

It bothers me how Adidas and other major design companies somewhat lack in creativity. Its like a dog going around in circles, chasing its tail. Please, no more season templates. Pattern sometimes means mediocrity...

That was the idea. To look like a rugby shirt, with some "retro" appeal.

Unfortunally, most of brazilian teams are prohibited by their own pre-historical statutes to wear different colors, that's why many of the Third kits are based on the same colors as Home and Away kits.
