Bournemouth 10-11 carbrini home kit

AFC Bournemouth unveiled the new 10/11 home football kit made by Carbrini. The new AFC Bournemouth home shirt will be on sale in the Club Store today at the Port Vale game.

Supporters who have pre ordered the shirts can collect from the Club Store at 10.00 am. For supporters who requested that their shirts were sent by post, these have now been despatched.

Nicknamed The Cherries, the team traditionally played in red and white stripes until 1971, when the strip was changed to red and black stripes, similar to that of A.C. Milan. A predominantly red shirt was chosen for the 2004-05 and 2005-06 seasons before announcing a return to the stripes for the 2006-07 season due to fan demand.

Quite smart for a Carbrini shirt. Strange how pinstripes will make just about any kit look slightly classier

Great. Bournemouth deserve a nice kit for their first season back in League One.

Pin-stripes really seem to be the in-thing for next season (see Bradford, Coventry, Dortmund, York, Sheff Wed etc)

I'll say this for Carbrini, given that they are also the main shirt sponsor, it was a good idea to put the 'makers' logo on the sleeve.
This does not look too bad, but I have seen the fabric and, believe me, it is much nicer to look at than it is to wear.

I like it a really nice simple kit, I also like only having one sponsor/kit suppliers logo (none would be better) but very nice

being a massive afcb fan, i can say on behalf of all the fans we wanted stripes, simple a. just, like the 70's or the 2006-2008 focal point shirt. And on the morning of may1st i saw a picture and i was highly disappointed in the shirt, it looked horrible. so i put on my jeans and went up the road to see it up close and i liked it a lot more then when i first saw it. Then later on at the game, the team wore it for the first time (and won 4-0) and it completely won me over. the shirt looked really smart with all the team wearing it. so in 6 hours it went from being ugly to being a sure classic. it already makes the old shirt seem dated.

I wasn't a fan at first, but I guess it is because I'm used to seeing the shirt manufacturer logo on the right or center of the shirt. It just seemed out of place at first. In truth since the sponsor is the same it looks better this way and seems less cluttered. A clean design looks decent. I'd definitely buy this if I were a Bournemouth supporter.

nice and simple but the collar looks very squared-off, like it's half a hexagon

If each football clue could rely on the shirts to predict their future, AFCB's is prosperous.

I could walk down the street in this and hardly anyone would know what club i support. The vasr majority of fans want red & black stripes. That's proper stripes like AC Milan, Newcastle etc. Newcaste might be a joke in some ways but they have the strongest sense of identity. It's almost their trademark and everyone knows what it is. Come on AFCB, stop messing about with our strip.
