Al Ahly 10/11 Adidas Kits

Here are the new Al Ahly kits for the 2010/11 Egyptian Premier League produced by Adidas

Al Ahly from the Egyptian capital of Cairo won the award of African Club of the Century from the governing body of Africa, CAF. The way this was decided was by attributing each continental trophy a certain number of points for each placing.

The new home kit from Adidas has a red shirt, white shorts and red socks all contain a gold trim in the form of Adidas stripes and various other piping around the shirt, the only white on the shirt features in the Vodafone logo.

The away appears to be the same Adidas Condivo template but entirely in dark blue but again features gold for the piping and adidas stripes on the shirt, shorts and socks.

Theres a good reason why the piping and the three stripes is in gold rather than white - Al Ahlys hated rivals Zamalek play in white shirts with two red stripes, and making the three stripes white would have meant two red stripes on the shirt on a white background, hence the gold ones. It looks much better than last seasons red kit with three white stripes.

The away is not too bad, but for both of the kits, the Vodafone logo should have been higher up the shirt.
